chapter 11

                                                                               Alix's POV

Noah pulled into the school parking lot. His car was instantly swormed by a bunch of girls both human and werewolf.

I let out a small growl.

Noah chuckled.

I shot him a glare which just made him laugh even harder at me.

I rolled my eyes and pushed my door open. As soon as I shut the door I realized Noah was in front of me looking down at me with a large grin. I realized a bunch of girls were glaring at me probably dying to be in my position right now.

"Let's go lover boy." I said to Noah pulling him toward a group of my friends with me.

"YO babe wait up!" A voice called from behind us.

Noah growled instantly because the voice belonged to a guy and not just any guy but Noah's best guy friend, Paul.

I turned just in time to be hugged by Paul tightly.

He was really good looking. I guess since he was a year older then me he would be. Paul stood a little over six feet tall. He had ash blond hair that hung over his eyes that stuck out because they were such a bright green color. A little secret I used to have a major crush on him a year ago.

Paul gave a small chuckle as if hearing my thoughts.

I can, babe. I heard him say mentally.

I gasped causing Noah to look at me in consern.

"What?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"It's nothing." I assured him.

"Alix!" A girl screamed my name.

"Shit." Both Noah and Paul mumbled  as my best girl friend, Nicole came running up towards up.

I giggled. They didn't like her. She flirted with them like crazy and to be honest in got real annoying real fast.

"Hey Alix." Nicole said then went straight up to Noah and put a hand on his chest. "Hi Noah. How ya been?"

"Fine." Noah said stepping away from her and toward me.

I shot Nicole a glare just as Paul glared at how close Noah and I were standing together.

"So..." Paul nearly growled.

"Don't bring it up." Noah suddenly snapped.

"Why not she does have a right to know seems how in two months she'll be with me and you'll be with Nicole." Paul laughed.

Noah growled just as I gasped.

And Nicole was giggleing just as Paul grinned folding his arms over his chest.

"You're the one who I'd be mated with if Noah and I dont have a child and get married in two months?" I gasped. " But you're his best friend. And-And Niocole!"

I shook my head just as Noah pulled me away from them. He was growling until we were out of sight. That's when he took me in his arms and I began to sob.

"I cant wait to leave." I sobbed.

                                                                          Noah's POV

"So..." Paul growled. Have you told that mate of yours who she'll be with in two months? Cause if not I'll tell her.

"Don't bring it up." I snapped bothe aloud and mentally.

"Why not she does have a right to know, seems how in two month's she'll be with me and you'll be with Nicole." Paul sneered.

I growled while Alix gasped and Nicole giggled.

Paul crossed his arms acrost his chest with a huge grin on his face.

"You're the one who I'd be mated with if Noah and I dont have a child and get married in two months?" Alix gasped. " But you're his best friend. And-And Niocole!"

Alix shook her head just as I grabbed her hand in mine and pulled her away from them. I was growling my warning to them. Stating if they came after us I'd kill them. No! I'd rip them to shreds. I stopped growling when they were gone from my view and took Alix in my arms just as she began to sob.

"I can't wait to leave." She sobbed

Danm I hated seeing her this upset. I tightened my arms around her and buried my face in her neck softly kissing my mark on her neck.

Alix shivered slightely and I pulled away taking off my jacket and giving it to her. Alix slipped  into my jacket which was huge on her but so sexy. The sleeves were just a little to long for her along with the whole jacket.

I sighed and pulled Alix away from the school and to my car. We were going home. I'm not gunna stand for all this shit Paul is willing to give us freely! I was gunna take Alix to a place where we could start fresh, with no one but my father and his family if he had one.

Alix made no objection as I opened the passanger side door for her. She slid in as she wiped her tears away with the sleeve of my jacket. I shut the door after she was in and buckled up. I then went to the drivers side and got in. I rored the care to life. I pulled out of the shcool and drove home.

On the way there Alix fell asleep. I saw the tears had dried on her cheeks. It saddened me to know that PAul hurt her and possibly got hurt by me too because I knew who my suposed mate would be abd I knew her suposed mate. I knew who they were since Alix and I moved in together.

I pulled into the drive way with a sigh.

"Angel time to wake up." I whispered softly shaking her shoulders gently.

Alix's eyes fluttered open.

I gave her a smile.

"We're home." I told her.

Alix smiled weakly as she climbed out of the car. We then made our way to the house where Alix went up to her room. It saddened me to see her this upset.

I gaver her five minutes before I went up stairs to her room and knocked on the door just as I heard a sudden sob.

Go away! She screamed at me mentally.

"Alix please let me come in." I called.

No! She cried.

"Please." I called.

The dor opened to reviel Alix. I instantly took her in my arms.

"How long hace you known?" She sobbed into my chest. "For how long did you know Paul would be my suposed mate and Nicole yours?"

"My mother and fath-Austin told me when they bought us the house and the day we moved in two years ago." I answered remembering when my parents or well my mother and step father sat me down in the living room while Alix was unpacking.

My parents had said. "When you and Alix turn seventeen and don't hace a mate we will set you up with someone. Alix's mate would be your best friend Paul and your mate would be ALix's best friend Nicole."

I had sat there speakless.

I now shuddered at the memory.

Alix stood there looking at me.
