Chapter 17: Rumors.

Clarke POV:

I walk to school and my phone rings.

Clarke:"Hello?"

Maria:"Hey Clarke, I saw you called me last night. Sorry I didn't reply, my phone died and I was asleep."

Clarke:"Oh yeah, my Grandfather died yesterday, it's okay...Bellamy came round and helped me out."

Maria:"Omg, im so sorry, ill totally hug you at school.Bellamy? Why not Finn?"

Clarke:"Well..."

Maria:"Clarke?"

Clarke:"I didn't even call him, he wasn't in my mind at the time."

Maria:"But bellamy was?"
She giggles and I laugh.

Clarke:"Yeah,I don't know Maria,It's complicated."

Maria:"Okay. Well I'll see you at school"

I hang up and start walking faster to school and suddenly Raven calls.

Raven:"Clarke what's happened? U okay, u called me last night"

Clarke:"It's okay, my Grandfather just passed and bellamy helped me out"

Raven:"Bellamy? What happened with you two?"

Clarke:"He came and hung out and helped me calm down."

Raven:"You know you have a boyfriend right?"

Clarke:"Yeah but I don't know, U just called bellamy, cause I wanted to."

Raven:" Okay well I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, I'll see you here at school"

I arrive at school and see Finn pushing Bellamy.

I run to them and go between them.
I stare at Bellamy and then to Finn.

Clarke:" What the f*ck do you think you two are doing"

Finn:"No what the f*ck are you doing, Sleeping with bellamy"

Clarke:"Wait what?"

Finn:"The whole school knows bellamy came round your house last night."

Clarke:"He didn't sleep with me, there spreading rumors"

Bellamy:"Yeah, I'm a dick but I wouldn't sleep with someone else's girl"

Clarke:"Finn believe me, We didn't sleep together okay."

I look to see Monroe looking at me, smirking.

Clarke:"You bitch!"

I run to monroe and push her.

Clarke:"You did it didn't you, you F*cking rumor spreading bitch"

Finn grabs me and pushes me back.

Clarke:"She totally f*cking told everyone about that rumor"

Finn:"Okay...Okay, You don't know so don't assume things alright."

Clarke:"Whatever I'm going to class."

I storm into school passing Maria and Octavia.'Oh god, they saw the whole thing.'
I walk to language and Octavia enters aswell. I pit my head down on the desk and my eyes water.

Octavia:"Hey, Clarke...You okay?"

Clarke:"No... I'm really not."

I lift my head and she hugs me.

Octavia:" At least my bro didn't do anything this time"

We both laugh and the bell rings.
