Chapter 23: Love

Clarke POV:

We arrive at rhe Ground Café and Bellamy walks to the counter.

Bellamy:"Hey grandfather. 1 chocolate shake and 1 Vanilla shake please, oh and 1 cheese bagel."

Bellamys Grandfather:"Oh Bellamy, Yes they will be ready soon, go sit with...who is this."

I wave and smile.

Bellamy:"This is Clarke, she just needed some time somewhere else and why not here."

Bellamys grandfather:"Good choice"

He smiles and we sit in a booth.

Bellamy:"So Are you okay? Since you know"
He scratches his head and puts his hand through his black curls.

Clarke:"As soon as I relax with a shake than I'll be okay."

He smiles and I giggle.

Anya:"Here you go bellamy, 1 chocolate,one vanilla and your bagel will be here im a minute."

Bellamy:"Thanks Anya"

She nods and leaves to go back to serving.

Bellamy:"chocolate for you cause I know how much you love chocolate."

Clarke:"I do thank you for paying attention."

I take the first sip of the shake.

Clarke:"Oh my, this is so good."

He giggles and drinks his vanilla shake.

Anya:"Here's your bagel. I cut it, if you wanted to share."

Bellamy:"Thanks. Clarke, you can have some if you want."

My phone rings.
13 missed calls from Maria and 6 missed calls from my mother.

Bellamy:"Who is it?"

Clarke:"13 missed calls from Maria and 6 missed calls from my mom. I'm gonna call Maria and than my mother. I'll be back okay."

He nods and I go outside and call Maria.

Maria:"Oh my, Clarke. *Couph* Octavia called and told me what happened. Are you *Couph* Okay?"

Clarke:"Are you okay, your sick again?"

Maria:"I get sick alot *Couph* I would totally come and give ya a hug but *Couph* I'm the middle of dying."

Clarke:"Haha, It's okay. I'm hanging out with Bellamy."

Maria:"ohhhh The clarke with the bell."

Clarke:"Shhh. I'll call you later okay. I'll tell you what happened at school. I have to call my mom."

Maria:"Yeah Octavia said she called your mom to tell her *Couph* Alright talk to ya later. Don't get to touchy with Bellamy."

Clarke:"I won't, shut up. Bye"

Maria:"Bye *Couph*"

I hang up and call my mother and have a similar conversation but I explain what happened and then go back to Bellamy.

Bellamy:"Everything okay? You were out there for 20 minutes. I'm nearly done with my shake."

Clarke:"Sorry. Had to explain the thing with my mother and Maria was being weird and she's sick again so."

Bellamy:"Oh okay. That's why she wasn't there today okay. Well I left a bit of bagel for you."

Clarke:"Thanks."

Bellamy:"After this wanna go to my house and just hang out. Nobody is home, Octavia Is going on a movie date with Lincoln so she won't be back till morning if she goes round his house."
