Chapter 29: Games and Jealousy

Clarke POV:

I stare at Drake and then at Bellamy and then at Octavia and then over and over again.

Clarke:"How!"

Drake:"Well you now how."

Clarke:"What the..."

Bellamy:"what?"

Clarke:"Maria, We need to discuss somethin."

She walks over to me and I whisper.

Clarke:"What the f*ck"

She bursts out laughing and continues to laugh over and over.

Clarke:"Stop it."

Maria:"Haha. I'm sorry haha"

She bursts out laughing for another minute and then finally stops and we look back at everyone. They look so confused. We turn back to eachother.

Maria:"This is werid I now, just act normal and hang out with everyone okay."

I breath and walk over to them.

Maria:"So, who wants to play basketball. I'm still limp but I can still play basketball."

Everyone cheers and Maria gets the ball.

Maria:"To make the teams, I will have 1 leaf In one hand and nothing in the other. Two people choose and whatever you get is your team okay."

Maria:"Clarke and Octavia is up first."

We step up and I point to the right and she points to the left. Maria shows us what's in her hands.

Maria:"Leaf for Clarke and nothing for Octavia. Now Bellamy and Drake."

Bellamy points to the right and Drake points to the left.

Maria:"Alright, Drakes with Clarke and The Blake's are together. Bellamy take the leaf and do what I did, me and Raven have to pick."

Maria points to the left and Raven points to the right.

Bellamy:"Maria, your with me and O and Raven your with them."

We get ready and Maria starts with the ball.

Maria:"Alright, first to 10 wins!"

We start and Maria bounces to the middle and passes it the Octavia and then she passes to bellamy and gets it in.

Bellamy POV:

We played for 20 minutes and all Clarke and Drake are doing are playing around, Drake being all flirtatious and clarkes falling for it. It's 8-7 with us in the lead. I clutch my fists and get ready.

Maria:"Alright. We are having a break. Bell, here now."

She grabs me and pulls me away from everyone. I stare at Clarke and Drake laughing and getting all close.

Maria:"You need to calm down Bellamy. I can see you get all angry at them."

Bellamy:"Drakes doing this on purpose."

Maria:"Just play the game without hurting anyone."

We walk back and we play. I grab the ball and pass it to Maria and she shoots in. We cheer and we high five eachother. Drake grabs the ball and bounces it infront of me.

Drake:"How u doin cus."

Bellamy:"Whatever."

He dribbles the ball in front and he throws it at Clarke and passes it to Raven and she gets it into the net. I grab the ball and dribble it but Drake runs by me snd pushes me while grabbing the ball and he shoots and gets it in. I get up and I was about to swing but Octavia and Maria grabbed me. Clarke looks at me and then at Drake.

Clarke:"What the hell is wrong with you two?"

Bellamy:"Nothing."

I walk away but someone stops me.

Maria:"Nope. Nope. Nope. Where you going?"

Bellamy:"Home."

Maria:"You better be at that party tonight"

Bellamy:"I don't know."

Maria whispers.

Maria:"You need to tell Clarke how you feel...Tonight."

I nod and walk off.

■*HOURS LATER, PARTY TIME*■

Clarke POV:

I brush my hair with Raven,Maria and Octavia staring at me.

Clarke:"Why are you all staring at me?"

Raven:"You like him don't you."

Clarke:"Like who?"

Raven:"Drake"

Maria whispers something but I could only hear the first letter, B. I ignore what she said.

Clarke:"Drake, he's cool. I've only know him for shorter than a day."

Octavia:"I only knew Lincoln for a couple minutes and look at us now."

We laugh together and walk out of my house and down the street to the Party.

Octavia:"I'm gonna find Lincoln."

Raven:"I'm just gonna sit here..."

Maria:"I'll stay with you Raven. The limp has ya back."

I walk in and scan the room. I see Bellamy. I gently wave and he smirks at me. I see Drake and I smile.

Drake:"Hey there Cutie, What's up?"

Clarke:"Nothin but you should get me a drink."

Drake:"Already got one."

He gives it to me and I look at it.

Drake:"You good?"

Clarke:"Just checking."

Drake:"You think I drugged it?"

Clarke:"No. I've had a bad thing with drinks and drugs. Someone drugged me before and I was sent to the hospital."

Drake:"Oh shit, well I didn't so don't worry."

I drink it and we laugh and talk.
After talking about an hour we walk to a room with all the drinks are.

Drake:"All alone huh."

Clarke:"Yup."

He comes closer to me and puts his drink down.

Clarke:"Hey buddy, getting to close?"

He grabs my face and kisses me. I let I him kiss for for a couple seconds before pulling away. I see someone, Bellamy, standing at the desk with all the drinks.

Clarke:"Bellamy."

He runs and I was about to run away after him when Drake grabbed my hand.

Clarke:"Get off. Please."

He let's go and i run after bellamy. It was to late and I couldn't see him.

Bellamy POV:

I ran as fast as I could and I wasn't paying attention and I bumped into Maria and Raven.

Maria:"Wow buddy, you alright?"

Bellamy:"No, I need to be alone."

I run upstairs.

Maria:"I'll be back Raven. BELLAMY! Wait. Whats wrong."

Bellamy:"Clarke...Drake, they kissed."

Maria:"Bellamy, it was just a kiss."

We sat on a couch and I put my head in my hands.

Bellamy:"I can't ever tell her how I feel. It's always to late."

Maria:"Nothings to late bellamy. Ya know, I don't really know you, not as much as everyone else but I know your an okay guy and You should have happiness. Everyone needs it sometimes."

I look at her and shes smiling trying to make everything better.
I grab her arms, pull her in and kiss her. She pulls back and looks at me. She kisses me back and I move her to a room,close the door with my foot and push her onto a bed.
