Chapter 28: Funeral and the new guy.

Clarke POV:

Its been 2 weeks and it's Finns Funeral. School has been hard, since finn knew everyone and teachers loved him. Everyone didn't believe he was gone but he was.
It's Sunday, day of his funeral and I get my black dress and black flats on. I straighten my hair and I put blush and eyeliner on.
I grab my purse and put my phone inside. I walk downstairs and see my mother grabbing her keys.

Abby:"Ready?"

Clarke:"Yeah."

We walk outside and it's already raining. It always rains when a funeral Is going on.
We arrive after a 30 minute drive and everyone is already walking into the church. Everyone is seated and there are three seats left at the front, right next to Raven.
I walk to her and see Bellamy Is sitting 2 seats behind her. He waves and I smirk. I walk to Raven and sit down next to her.

Clarke:"Hey, how's ur leg?"

Raven:"Could be better but I wish it wasn't broken and I wish...Finn wasn't dead."

Clarke:"I know...I'm so sorry."

Raven:"I know you were with him. When he died. Did he say anything?"

Clarke:"No. He could barely talk."

Raven:"I wish I was there..."

I lied to one of my best friends. I didn't want her to find out what happened between us so I didn't say anything. The funeral was about to start but the door opened.

Clarke:"Maria?"

She walks in, Very pale and is walking with crutches.

I stand up and help her walk. One extra seat was left so I sat her down.

Maria:"I wanted to come. He was my friend aswell."

I nod and we start the funeral.

Father Dax:"Welcome. Today we say goodbye to a loyal and amazing human being, Finn Collins.
Many of you were friends, best friends and family to him and he truly loved you all. We now sit here in silence for 3 minutes to give our love and care to Finn."

I put my head down and close my eyes. We sit there for 3 minutes.

Father Dax:"Now, would anyone like to say some words. Maybe his mother."

We watch as his mother walks up and stands at the podium.

Finns Mother:"Thank you to everyone who have said goodbye to my son. I..."

She starts to cry and holds tissues to her eyes and nose.

Finns Mother:"He was so special to all of us and I'm so happy you were his friends. He could of been a real jackass *Everyone giggles* but he was so kind and cared more about everyone than himself, I love you Finn. Soon we will see eachother again."

She sits down and the Father walks up to the podium again.

Father Dax:"Anyone else."

Raven raises her hand.

Raven:"Can you come with me, you could say something to."

I nod and I help her up the stairs up to the podium. She holds out a sheet and stands there.

Raven:"Um..."

She looks like she's about to break down.

Clarke:"You can do this."

She breathes and looks at the coffin.

Raven:"Finn was amazing. Always cheered people up but put people down. We weren't dating guys. We just wanted to see what all of you would think and alot of people overreacted."
