Chapter 10-Halfway There

I was walking right beside a werewolf when my necklace starts to faintly glow.I run up to the top of the hill and start digging it didn't take long to find the box.I pulled it out and there was a green crystal and a dirty old envelope.I put the note in my pocket and the crystal floated up into the air the necklace comes off around my neck they start getting closer the green light got brighter until there was one big flash.When my vision clears the necklace is around my neck and the werewolves are awake.There was at least 15 of them all looking at me."Guys I might need some help here"I said nervously.From the shadows Axel shot an arrow and it hit a werewolf right in the eye."ATTACK"A werewolf yelled.Four of the werewolfs went to me and five to Miranda and five to Axel.I pulled out my dagger and stabbed one and they fell two of them charged me and one pined me down while the other tried to attack.I headbut one in the face and pushed them down the hill with my shield they didn't stand.The other attacked and with one swift slice I slit their throat.The last one jumps over my head and grabs me by the throat.I drop my dagger and i have no weapon I couldn't breath there was no way I could get loose.Everything is going black until their grip loosened and he fell to the ground releasing me.I gasp for air and see an arrow sticking out of his back.I look over and I see Axel struggling to pull an arrow out of his sling and a werewolf nocks the bow out of his hands and pushes him to the ground."ASPEN HELP HIM HE HAS NO WEAPON"Miranda yelled holding off two werewolves.There was no time the werewolf was going to kill him, the beast drew back his hand.Then my body acts without me commanding it my arm raises and vines start to come out of the trees.The vine rap around the werewolf pulling him away into the brush with a loud snapping sound.Everyone stood still even the werewolves one of them howl and they all retreat into the darkness.I feel light headed and Miranda comes up and thanks me and then my surroundings go completely black.
