Chapter 13-The meeting

I show up a little before midnight so they don't think I'm standing them up."Hey there cutie long time no see"A deep raspy voice said.I recognize the voice it was the man that was after my treasure, oh no."What do you want from me I found this myself and it's mine what's your deal"I wondered."Listen I don't want any bad blood but I'm going to need that necklace"The man said."Listen just wait if you don't want bad blood tell me your name I'll tell you mine I'm -"I said getting cut off"Aspen Jewel i know a lot about you anyway my name is Storm and that's all you need to know"He said in a stern voice."Now hand over the necklace"He yelled before I could do anything.He lunged at me but before he could I pulled up my force field and he bounced right off.As he lay on the ground I took down the force field and rapped him up in vines."Listen to me I am the powerful one now so if u come to this village ever again I will leave more than a scar on you leg"I yelled in a stern voice tightening the grip around his body."Okay I'll leave just let me go"Storm choked out.I dropped him and he ran off.I started walking back to my house only to see a girl about 14."Hi I'm Hannah what are you doing"She asked me."I um just needed some fresh air what are you doing out so late"I asked her changing the subject."Listen you never saw me and I never saw you but while we're here lets get to know each other"Hannah suggested."Fine it's a deal so who are your parents"I asked."Well I live with my dad and his new wife my mom died after I was born"She said gloomily."That is awful my mom died when I was 1 and I never knew my dad"I mentioned to her."How did you get by all these years who was taking care of you"Hannah asked.I liked this girl she was curious she reminds me of me weird."I stayed with different foster homes until one day I couldn't handle it any more I had to get out so I left and went on my way at the age of 14"I told her."Wow you were crazy but anyway your necklace is very pretty where did you get it"Hannah asked."I found it and it has great power but it is also my burden lets just leave it at that"I uttered."That's weird can I wear it"Hannah asked."NO YOU CAN- I mean no it's very special to me"I said catching myself from yelling."Okay um I know this is weird but do you want to meet my parents tomorrow to show I have at least one friend in the village"Hannah asked not making eye contact."Sure sounds good we will talk more tomorrow we better get back before arrow finds us"I said standing up."Yep I'll see you tomorrow bye"Hannah said walking away.I start going up to my house when I hear these little laughs almost like a cackling so I start going faster.I get close to my house and it's now louder and louder until I find the source.There was a short old woman standing at the door of my house but something wasn't right.The closer I got the more I noticed it she was glowing a very bright glow that was almost unbearable."Welcome home my friend you must be my roommate"The lady cackled out.
