Chapter 11-The Next Clue

I finally woke up but we were in a new place it was lush and green but there were the same werewolfs we fought dead in the same place."Oh she is awake, how are you feeling can you move"A familiar voice asked me?"Yeah I can move but where are we"I asked raising up and looking around."We're in the Adamantium Forrest still but when you passed out from using your power everything started growing"Axel said outstretching a hand.I get helped up and I remember the the note that was with the crystal.I take it out of the envelope and it says "You will find me in the temple on the bottom of the Amethyst Ocean".That was the next place I needed to go."What was the note about it's like some kind of greek language or something"Miranda told me rubbing my shoulder."It's where the next part of my necklace is only I can read it when wearing the necklace"I mumbled trying not to confuse her."Okay where is it at we might be close to the location"Axel asked."It's in a place called the Amethyst Ocean I don't think it would be close"I told them.They stood there motionless like their souls were just stolen."Aspen I don't want to burst your bubble or force field whatever but there is no question you will need to train for this no denying this one"Miranda uttered gloomily."Why is there something there like a demon"I questioned."Not exactly it's called the Opal Guardian she is a 16 foot monster with poison barbs coming out of her body,she is a solid white color with bright red eyes"Miranda said out of breath."She lives in her castle guarded by and I know it sounds cliche but there are mermaids surrounding it their not too menacing but when they sing they control your body"Axel continued."Well I guess we better get started let's get on our horses and get back home but first I need you guys to keep my necklace a secret I don't want people to think i'm a freak"I asked.They both gave me a nod."I'll go grab the horses you ladies just wait here"Ael said giving Miranda a wink."Ohhhhhh he likes you"I joked with Miranda."Aspen you told us your secret now I got mine to tell"Miranda stared at me with watery eyes."Of course what is it you can tell me let's sit down"I said pulling her arm to a stump.We sat down and no words were exchanged for a few seconds."Listen please don't freak I hope you will still be my friend"Miranda whined.Before I could answer she started to sob."There is no need to worry of course I will be your friend no matter what"I told her giving her a hug.She didn't say anything she pulled off her solid red jacket to reveal 3 long claw marks.I didn't know what to say she was scratched by a werewolf and that could only mean one thing."The full moon is in 1 week that is how long I have until I change for the first time but if 'm not born a werewolf I can control myself even I can learn to turn on my own I just need to make it through the 1st transformation"Miranda whined.I see Axel is on his way back and it's time for secret hiding skills."Put on your jacket he is on his way we will talk about this more later and wipe away the tears"I whispered.She put on her regular face as soon as Axel got back.One week until she turns i goota be there for support maybe the house has a book on it she can have.
