Chapter 20-Tears Are Shed Pt.2

I look down at Hannah and she doesn't look herself her arm is bark,her eyes are solid green,and there is a small flower on the top of her head that looks like it won't come out."Hannah are you there hello"I said shaking her.She inhaled deeply and raised up slowly looking around to see where she is."Where am I what happened"Hannah said rubbing the back of her head with the branch arm.Her eyes go wide and she pulls her arm around and her mouth drops open."Listen don't scream the monsters will hear you but what happened the short story you got attacked by a witch and got cursed and I helped you with my power and I know that sounds weird but I have powers and when you were saved these were the consequences"I said."Let me be alone to thi-think on this"Hannah said sitting down and crossing her legs."How long should we wait before we should leave or something"I asked.The monsters should leave anytime now the can only be in the sun so long but the also can't get far at night"Axel said.Just as he said that we see all of the monsters run up the hill super fast.Everyone pulls out their weapons and I throw on the biggest forcefield I've ever made around all of us.But instead of attacking they just kept going by but I didn't trust them so I kept it up.It lasted for about three minutes then the last one got by and I dropped the forcefield feeling drained but I knew I had to go on."Okay let's go see if we can find anymore monsters or if there are any survivors"Miranda yelled.We all get down there and I instantly see two people being held in a house by another Orc.I run over and slice it's head off with my dagger and it falls to the ground."Hey the Orc is gone it's me Aspen let me in"I yelled.When the door finally opened Hannah's dad and step mom ran out crying.I look inside and Derek is sitting there with a very pale face."Hey hey are you ok what happened"I ask."I got bit by the serpent and (breath inhale) it was poisonous"Derek struggled to say."It's okay here let me help you up"I said grabbing his arm."Stop the reason I got bit was because I saw Archer and I (breath inhale) don't want to go on"Derek said pushing my hand away."Well what do you want me to do I'll do it just tell me"I said starting to cry for him and his love."Take me to him (breath inhale) so I can be with him as (breath inhale) I die, I want to be in his arms"Derek said."Okay okay I'll do it"I said feeling tears run down my face.His body was just outside the house so I would not need to hold him far.I lift him up and we start walking with me supporting him.As we get to his body I lay him down gently and he starts to cry even harder."I'm here my love I'll see you on the other side"Derek says putting an arm behind Derek's head.I watch his chest and it stops moving and now I know he is dead.I bring up as many flowers as I can and wrap some new ones around this beautiful couple."Hey what are you doing did you find any-"Jade said cutting herself off.She went down to my level on the ground and did something unexpected.She looked devastated and then she looks at me and we stare at each other.Then she kissed me on the lips but for some reason I didn't turn away it felt good and it felt right.She pulled away and it was very awkward because neither of us know what to say but I needed to break the ice."What just happened"I asked."I'm so so sorry I don't know what came o-"She said with me putting a hand over her mouth."It's okay I liked it but we'll discuss that later we gotta find more people"I said running my hand on her chin.She nodded and we ran off looking around.As I get out I see Hannah,her dad, and her step mom just staring at her and they looked like their looking at...a monster.Still it's their daughter but it must be blowing their minds right now and I know they'll want an explanation.
