Logan?" I called as I walked down the hall. I couldn't find him, fear began to rise in my throat making me choke on air. "Logan?" My voice cracked when I called his name, something could have happened to him.

"Logan?" I stopped to see Logan sound asleep on the couch. I smiled, walking around the couch and kneeling in front of him.

I stared at him my head cocked to the side at an odd angle. I sat there admiring him, every little part. I looked up and saw a string of hair hanging above his eyebrow, I raised my hand pushing it away.

I jumped as his eyes popped open. I found my back pressed against the coffee table breathing heavily. "Good morning." Logan said in a drossy baby voice.

"Morning." I breathed. My heart was still pounding in my chest trying to escape. Does he not know he nearly have me a heart attack! Logan rose from his seat taking my hands and helping me on my feet, my legs trembled as impact. He circled his arms around me bringing me into a hug. I don't know why but I buried my face into his chest, hugging him tighter, he smelled good. "I would never hurt you." He whispered sadly into my ear. I knew I had hurt him judging by the obvious hurt in his voice.

"I know." I knew that but the fear was still there. I wanted to trust Logan, I needed to trust him, but I don't feel ready yet. We just held each other like that for what seemed like a life time. Logan stroking my hair and me taking it all in. I didn't want it to end.

KNOCK, KNOCK!

The sound made me squeeze tighter and whimper in his chest. We both stared at the door, "Logan open up! It's Kimberly!" A female voice called from outside.

He moved me behind him and walked to the door. I wanted to reach out for him, tell him it was a trap, but only one thing stuck my mind. Who's Kimberly?

The door creaked open and giggles erupted through the door as two women came in. One of the women wrapped their arms around Logan's neck before, bouncing in glee. "Logan I haven't seen you in forever!" The girl squealed.

"Yeah, you have been in college so yeah." She rolled her eyes at him before she introduced the girl to her left. "Logan, this is Mia and she needs you to shoot her."

I gasped without really meaning to, making everyone focus their attention on me. Logan walked back to me taking my hand in his. "Kimberly this is Mercury, Mercury this is my sister, Kimberly." Logan said. I weakly waved at her. Kimberly's eyes grew as a huge grin spread on her face.

"Logan! She's beautiful! Is she a model?" I blushed ducking my head into Logan's arm, I heard a gasp come from Kimberly.

"And so bashful! We are so going to have to break you out of that!" I peeked up at Logan to see him smiling down on me, I couldn't help but smile back. I liked this feeling, it felt...happy.

The other girl just stared at me with a look of pity making me look at the ground. I hated the pity look, it made me feel weak, weak and vulnerable. I felt Logan's finger tilt my chin up, I nodded holding my head up, looking at the girl named Mia square in her eyes.

Kimberly followed my gaze to Mia, who she then glared at in disgust. "You know it's rude to stare." She said coldly. Mia blinked coming back to earth.

"Sorry it's just-"

"No, I think you should leave, since you have no respect for my brother's house." Kimberly pointed towards the door where, MIS glumly walked to slamming the door behind her. It made my skin crawl, sending shivers down my spine.

"I'm sorry." I said in a small voice, if it was any louder in the house I'm sure it wouldn't have been heard. She gave me a smile, "No worries, I'm sure she can be easily replaced. Maybe you could take her place?" Kimberly said to herself.
