Chapter Nineteen

Logan's POV

I banged furiously on the glass as he began to cut Mercury. Her horrific screams filled the air they pierced my ears making me punch the glass harder leaving bloody stains on the chest glass. "Leave her alone, you son of a bitch!" I yelled through the glass.

Her teary eyes found mine, I pressed my hand on the glass, she reached out her hand mouthing my name before the back of Ki's hand came down hard on her face. "Stop! What the fuck do you want! Just tell me what you want!" I screamed, terror and rage filling my eyes.

A psychotic smile spread on Matthew's face as he walked over to me. I wanted to knock the smirk right off his face, the cheap prick. "It's simple I just want you to watch. Just like I've been watching you. I want you to feel what I felt." His face turned serious.

Mercury watched halfway gone her eyes frantically blinking as she tried to hold on to her consciousness. He pulled down his pants existing himself with no boxers and ran over to Mercury jumping on her. She screamed.

"Nooooo! Get of her!" I screamed punching the glass harder. "It feels so good to have you back babe." Matthew yelled just loud enough for me to hear. I punched the glass more rapidly, suddenly doing when I felt a small hand on my shoulder. I looked up to find Chastity smiling.

"It's okay baby, that bitch is dying." She whispered. My fist collided with her face knocking her out. She landed on the floor with a thud. "Take that Bitch."

Before I knew it all the guys in the back jumped on me. They hit me all over beating me bloody before letting me lifelessly drop to the ground. I tried to crawl over to the glass. Desperately trying to get to Mercury. Before being kicked in my side, flipping me on my back. I stared at the sealing watching the darkness take over. Trying to get away from the sorrow filled crys and disgusting pants of Matthew.

"There's my little slut."

"I've missed you so much baby."

"Just stay awake, give me the one last ride. I'll make you feel good."

Then darkness.

"Logan?"

My eyes fluttered open as I came into contact with Mercury. Her face was swollen and her eyes were red and puffy I tried to reach out for her but she flinched back. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"You lied to me." She said sadly turning away. What? I would never lie to her. She was my everything. Hell I love her. I shook my head, "Mercury, I've never lied to you."

"Yeah? Well you never told me you were a murderer either." My eyes grew wide. She looked on the verge of tears. Her bottom lip trembled, her clothes were torn, and I saw betrayal in her eyes. But I remained silent, when she saw I had no comment she started to cry.

"Please Logan. Tell me what happened. And please don't lie to me." She cried letting her fall and her shoulders violently. The chain in my hand reached just far enough so that I could wipe the tears from her face.

"Shhhh I'll tell you. But promise you'll listen." I said shaking as my throat got dry and my hands clammy. She nodded looking at me with her tear filled eyes.

"I loved her at one time, she was my all. Her name was Evette. And our relationship was getting rocky and I confided in her sister. She listened with interest but I also saw the lust in her eyes whenever she looked at me. I should've asked talking to her then but, I had nowhere else to go and she was the only one who was willing to listen." I stopped looking at Mercury who sat there in silence watching me with furrowed eyebrows trying to understand the situation. She nodded fit me to go on.

"Well her sister recommended that set up a homemade romantic dinner. I took her up and ended up cooking for Evette.
The look on her face when she saw what I had did was priceless. Her face had happiness and surprise written all over it and for a second I thought everything would be okay. Then I felt the bang of an object on the back of my head knocking me out. When I finally came to I saw her laying lifelessly on the floor bruised and beaten. She was dead."

Mercury gasped. A look of regret crossed her face. "I ran to her bloody body cradling it in my arms crying my ass off. I finally noticed her sister was also covered in blood. I asked her what she did in horror as she rocked back and forth in a corner. She rid me we could finally be together. The police came trialling me for murder. She told everyone we were lovers and they believed it. It wasn't until two years later that they found out she was mental and released me." A single rear rugged down my cheek. I felt soft fingers wipe it away. Mercury looked into my eyes a sad smile on her face.

"I knew you didn't do it." She cried. I smiled at her. The bang of a door opened as Chastity and Matthew stepped in. Chastity held an ice pack to her jaw and Matthew had a sickening smirk on his face.

"Well it seems the time has come." Matthew said smiling at us. His smile fell as his eyes found Mercury's and I hands interlocked. He stomped over slapping Mercury. My fist instantly reacted by smashing him in the face. He fell to the floor with a stunned look in his face making a smile break out on my face. "Tighten those fucking chains." He grumbled.

My hens were roughly snatched behind my back. Matthew stepped forward with a smile as he drew back his fist, I scoffed at his effort.

"Do your worst." I said smiling. He dropped his fist and leaned real close to my face. His breath smiled like liquor and his eyes gleamed in the light as if an idea just popped in his head. "Sure thing." Matthew turned to Mercury putting a gun to her head.

"No!" I screamed.

She shut her eyes tight before opening them again. "I love you. Turn away." She said her bottom lip trembling, I closed my eyes I heard the sound of the gun echoing off the walls.
