Part 18

Lay's POV

"When are you going to propose?" I whisper to Tao.

"When the time comes, I'll be ready." He lets out a shaky breath. I could he was nervous about the topic.

"Why are you waiting, Tao?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you waiting when you know the time is right?"

He looks at me, then at the ground. "Yeah.....I still need to wait for the perfect moment."

I nod. "Whatever you say?"

Tao scoffs. "Does Gracie know I plan on proposing?"

I shake my head. "No, I think she would ruin the surprise."

"True that."

Gracie's POV

The van stops and we arrive at the hotel. There were a few fans, but not too many.

We exit the car and Yixing covers me with his arms.

We go our separate ways and Yixing opens the door for me.

"After you, my lady." Yixing shows off his dimple.

"Thank you, sir." I do a small curtsey and walk through the door.

"You get changed while I draw your bath, princess." Yixing pecks my cheek and runs to the bathroom.

I nod and grab my robe. I strip and out on the robe quickly. I tie up my hair and out it into a bun.

"Here you go. Relax all you want." Yixing grabs my hand and leads me to the bath.

The steam was slowly rising above the clear water. There was bath pillow placed at the right.

Wow...even Yixing could make a hotel bathtub look fancy.

"Ready for this?" Yixing opens drawer.

"What?"

He turns around and opens a bag in front of me. "Pick."

"Huh?" I look inside the bag and see bath bombs. "Bath bombs! Yixing, when did you get the time to buy this!?"

He laughs at my reaction. "I didn't. A fan gave it to me just when I was about to leave the venue. She said to surprise you with it because she feels sorry for you. And you deserve it."

I hug him quickly. "That's the sweetest thing."

"For the sweetest girl." He kisses the tip of my head. "Now pick."

"Um...the minty looking one with the sparkles look nice." I point to it.

"As you wish, my princess." He biwd down and throws the bath bomb in making it splash.

I squeak a little when the warm water touched my leg.

"You're getting wet anyways. Why are you so scared?" Yixing teases.

"The water is really hot." I defend myself. "It's just a habit anyways."

"Ok..." He smiles and looks at me.

I furrow my brows. "Um....Yixing?"

"Yes?"

"I'm going to take a bath now." I nervously laugh.

"Ok."

I tilt my head. "Why are you still here?"

"I want to see your reaction."

"But....I'll be naked, that's...that's bad." I whisper yell.

"I'm your husband. It's not bad." He crosses his arms.

I roll my eyes, trying to cover my blush. "Just go and I'll call you back when I'm in the tub."

"Ohh, goody!" He claps his hands like a little kid and walks out.

"You are weird, Yixing!" I yell. "I'm also putting in bubbles!"

Gracie's POV

"Yixing!" I shriek as Lay picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "I'm in a robe, you crazy man!"

"I know, princess. That means you're comfortable." He chirps.

"Not exactly-OOF!" I squeak when Yixing drops me onto the bed.

"You'll be watching your favorite shows until you feel all better."

I wrap myself up like a burrito with the blankets. "Thank you, angel."

He kisses my forehead and goes to grab his jacket.

"Wha- Where are you going?" I sit up.

"To Tao, I need to help him plan some things." He answers with a smile.

I just nod. "Ok, well, come back as soon as you can. I won't be warm without you."

He walks back and kisses me again. "Don't worry, sweetie, I'll be back in no time."

Lay's POV

I close the door to my hotel room and fast walk to Tao's room.

I knock on the door and Tao answers immediately.

"Yo, you answered fast." I chuckle.

"Yeah, I-I'm just anxious." Tao looks out the door then at me. "Come in."

I walk in and Tao shuts the door.

"Where's Julie?" I ask.

"I sent her to a concert."

"Huh? Why can't she hang out with Gracie?"

"I have a feeling they might figure out what's happening on their own."
"That's true."

We plan for about 3 hours and it's late at night now.

"Hold up, I got a text." I stop Tao and pull out my phone.

Gracie: Yixing-ah, come back! It's late at night and you need to rest (^～^)

Yixing: Ok, princess. I'll be going now. <3

"Julie is coming back soon." Tao puts away his phone.

I nod. "Right. You know the plan?"

"It's carved in stone in my head. You better not forget." Tao knocks my head, making me laugh.

"I won't forget this."

Gracie's POV

The door opens and I jump out of bed.

"Yixing! Finally, you're back!" I wrap my arms around him. "You've been gone for so long!"

He returns my hug. "I know and I'm sorry. Important business."

I sigh. "I understand. Now, go to bed. You must be sleepy."

He yawns. "Yup, goodnight."

I walk towards the bathroom, by Yixing grabs my waist and throws me onto the bed with him.

"I won't be able to sleep without you, though." He whispers.

I smile and kiss his nose. "Right back at you."

///Next Morning///

Tao's POV

I wake up to the smell of....burning hair????

"JULIE!? WHAT IS THAT SMELL!?!" I scream and jump out of bed.

"I'm curling my hair, you lunitic. Calm down a bit, will ya?" Julie responds with attitude.

I couldn't help but smile.

"That's my girl." I whisper happily.

"What was that?"

I freeze. "U-um......get ready! We have a big day ahead of us!"

"What do you think I'm doing?"

I sneak up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. "You look beautiful today."

Her cheeks turn red. "Thanks. I think you look beautiful too."

I gasp. "Wow, ok."
