I wake up the next morning dripping in sweat, the dreams came back. I slowly got up, grabbing a pair of black leggings, a black v-neck shirt, and some combat boots. I opened the door and headed outside, or at least tried to before someone saw me.
I didn't make it very far before I heard some noises, it sounded like Lucas, and someone else. I climb up into an air vent(clever move) and watch the conversation.
"I need you to spy on Kayla..." Lucas says, I go all white when he says it. I knew he didn't trust me. I climb down from the air vent and act like I hadn't seen anything. Luke and the other person step out of the room. I act like I just walked down the hall.
"Oh, hi Luke. I was just looking for the training room."
"Oh, I saw it when I came down the hallway." The girl says, she points down the hall. Instantly I recognize her, Evangeline.
"And, who are you?" I ask. I want to have some fun with her.
"I'm," she pauses. "Eden, my names Eden." She says unevenly.
"Oh! Hi I'm Kayla. Are you like, Luke's guard or something?
Luke looks a little confused, Eva is fuming. I internally laugh at it, I know how to pull her strings perfectly.
Oh Luke, you should know you can't out spy a spy...
