Chapter 8: Revelation

Mike and Shay are keeping eyes on Josh when they here a scream that sounds a lot like Emily.

"Aw crap what now?",Mike asks.

"Should we check it out?",Shay questions. 

"I think we should I mean I don't wanna leave you alone. Especially with him.",Mike replies.
Shay just nods.

"Be a good little psychopath until we get back would ya.",Mike says,then him and Shay are out the door running like hell to get back to the lodge.

They get in and take a second to catch their breath before seeing Emily looking traumatized. 

"Em! You made!",Shay and Mike exclaim still a bit out if breath. 

"Oh god guys!",she replies going over and hugging them both. 

"What about Matt?",Mike asks. 

"We're trying to figure that out.",Ashley explains.

"Yeah there was this "monster" that was chasing her. ..",Chris says trailing off. 

"She's all messed up guys.",Shay says. 

"Emily. Hey Em?",Mike asks,but stops when there is knocking at the door.

"Woah",Chris whispers.

"Who the fuck can that be?",Mike asks.

"Josh?",Ashley suggests.

"Jess?",Chris offers.

"It's not Jess.",Mike says.

"Or Josh.",Shay adds. 

"Sorry guys,but who is it?",Chris asks.

"I don't know. We should check it out.",Mike says. 

"I've got your back.",Chris says. 

"Thanks.",Mike says.

Shay doesn't hear much of their conversation before the door bursts open and a man bursts through. 

Shay looks up and sees the man that saved her last year. 

"It's you.",she says. 

"Shay who is this?",Chris asks as him and Mike run back to the group.

"He's the guy that told me to run last year,he saved me.",she replies.

"Yes I did. And I'm here to tell you and your friends what you're up against being back on this mountain. You should never have returned. I don't know why you would after what happened last year.",he says. 

"You mean with Hannah and Beth?",Ashley asks. 

"How could you know without being involved?",Chris asks. 

"Or responsible.",Sam adds. 

You hold on to your horses I don't take kindly to you kids coming up here to my mountain.
Your mountain? Well I'm sure the Washington's would be very surprised to hear that.",Mike states. 

"Hehheh. Well this mountain don't belong to me it's true,but it doens't belong to the Washington's. It belongs to the Wendigo.",he explain.

"Who?",Chris asks. 

"What is he talking about?",Sam questions.

"What the hell's a Wendigo?",Mike asks.

"Let's hear him out.",Sam says.

"Not like we have much of a choice ",Mike argues.

"Now I'm only going to tell you this once it doesn't matter if you believe me or not I got reasons I want to... get it off my chest.",the man says.
