The next morning; Lyra Luhr, woke up with the sun shining in her hut. She stretched out her muscles, from her arms to her legs; as she was waking up. Once she was done with her full body stretching. She opened her eyes to where she found a tall man; taller than most. Who looked like he was carved out of stone; do to his big massive muscles. And the fact that he is much taller than most people that she has ever seen.
This caused Lyra to give out a high pitch squeak. This caused the man to laugh out loud, it was booming of its own. This also caused the dog; which was lying on the bed, to start barking at the great big man.
After a moment had passed. The door to the hut had been slammed opened; to where all could see, a war hungry Varg Drake. The mighty warlord of the land had arrived at the woman's hut.
As Lyra fought to keep the blankets on her body. The Thunder God had laughed even more louder than before. While the dog had stopped barking and ran towards the man at the door, wagging its tail.
The woman glared at the much massive man; who was still laughing. "I'm glad to see that you're having a time of your life, but can you stop it! I'm not used to waking up and finding strange men looking after me, as I sleep."
The man calmed down enough to say, "I'm the man; who has marked you as his child, for you wear my band upon your arm."
Lyra gasped for a second and glanced down; towards the object upon her right arm, "Thor?"
"That would be me, child." Thor sighed; as he went on to say, "But it would be wise to call me, father. Once we are outside of this hut that is, we don't want others to believe that you're not my child." He then glanced towards the man at the door. "If the good Lord Varg Drake would leave the hut, you and I have some talking to do; Little One."
"I'm not little," growled out Lyra; like some kind of creature, wanting to be heard.
Varg laughed as he had witnessed Lyra and Thor's talking. He could tell that Lyra did not like being told what to do. "As I can see. The lady is not in danger but is fighting her own such battles. I think I will see the two of you in the Great Hall; where breakfast will be served, soon." With a smirk upon his lips; Varg then turned around and left the hut. With the dog that had been watching over Lyra; at his side.
Once Varg had left the hut. Lyra gave the Norse God an even harsher glare. "I have heard stories about you, Norse Gods. And I have never thought that you would be more like your brother, Loki! Why have you stolen me away from my time, and why am I even here?"
The Thunder God sighed; he knew that it would not be easy, once the little lady was awake to talk to him. "Granted; my brother would have done something like this." He waved his arms about. "But I have noticed that Varg needed a wife; who would carry on his bloodlines." He then gave her a sorrowed look within his eyes, "You also needed a husband, to do the same."
"Why do you even care, Thor," asked Lyra; as she was about to yell at the Thunder God, before her. She could see that he cared, but she needed to know why. He looked like he was in pain or was it in disappointment; she needed to know.
"Because Lyra," sighed Thor; with pain within his eyes. "You are my child through the ages, on your father's side." The Norse God walked towards the woman. Who looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there, for her eyes were looking for somewhere to run to. "Because of the fact that I'm your closest father that you have here. I am your father," he saw tears leaking out of her eyes; seeing the defeat of escape. "By the law of the land; under my orders, you will be marrying the Wolf Dragon Lord."
This was where Thor had seen the despair look, run from the woman's face. Then looked at him with hungry; hunger for knowledge. He knew that she loved puzzles and she would do anything to solve, such puzzles.
