Colors. A thing so many people take for granted, yet those who can't see it just dream of seeing them. A thing that's so complex that it's nearly impossible coming up with a new color.

I used to see colors, those colors are gone. Now I see everything a dull grey, I don't believe that colors even exist anymore. Why exist if no one see's you? I'm used to the normal everyday routine. Wake up, get ready for school, leave, do things at school, come home, go to bed, and somewhere in there add homework. At least i do homework sometimes.

I wish I could see the colors of the pills I had to take. I wish all the action movies weren't dark grey, light grey, and grey. I wish I could see the light colors again. I wish I didn't have to live the boring life of seeing grey. At least my parents always tried everything to get my colors back but it never happened. So they slowly lost hope, just like me.  But luckily I have my mini group of friends that are just the most supportive cuties ever.

"Josh! Hello? Earth t- wait, Cats to Josh" a blonde haired girl (with blonde hair that I only dreamed of seeing) waved a hand in my face.

"Oh you got my attention now, so what were you talking about" i chuckled playing with my mess of blue hair, trying to keep it in order.

The girl just rolled her eyes at me, "I was talking about the cute new kid? The one that has a nice face and this sweet voice". jenna bit her bottom lip slightly as she looked back at me.

"Go get yourself a boyfriend, girlfriend," I practically shouted, making her cheeks go a shade of grey darker.

"You shush mr.dun we all know how you'd love to find a little twink of your own," jenna smirked at the my reaction before standing up from the table, walking off to get herself a lunch.

"Sorry sweetie im not gay," I shouted after her before looking down at my food and laughing to myself.

Oh Jenna,, my bestfriend since before all of this happened. she's been with me since I found out I could no longer see the glorious colors of this messed up world. it really does work in its own ways. people always assumed Jenna and I were dating and we always laughed it off, but last year we took action. the last month of school we had announced we were dating and that we had been for quite a while. people weren't surprised by any of what we said until they got splashed. we set up our group of friends to make little water ballon traps to dump a bunch of water on people. that's exactly what we did. after there had been a few murmurs around the cafeteria we gave the signal, a small bow, and everyone got drenched in water as jenna yelled, 'you just
got pranked suckers.' before running off to someplace while dragging me behind. We were suspended for the last 2 weeks but it was sick.

(Pov change hereee)

josh kept his gaze down at his poisoned school food as a bunch of thoughts raced through his delicate mind. he thought about how he sat with broken people, who had broken lives and the most broken stories. he fell for a girl that would never love him back. he was getting lost in crowds of misjudged and forgotten people. no one knew all of his stories.he wanted to be free of the same cycle over and over.he was different though, he wasn't fully forgotten. he was here, people knew he was. they didn't know him and he didn't know them. it repeated daily. he kept his brown eyes down to the floor as he was engulfed in a mob of lost teenagers just trying to fit in. his blue hair hung over his forehead.he needed a trim but he never got one. he wasn't new, he's been with the same people for the past 7 years. people barely bothered to learn his name.no one cared. at least that was until he found his escape. he saw the boy that jenna had been talking about once he looked up from his food. he watched as the boys eyes glanced around the cafeteria for a spot to sit. josh, being josh, waved over once he made eye contact with the shaking boy. almost as if all of the boys stress magically got off his shoulder, he made a turn and walked straight towards joshs table. once he sat down and got situated, jenna returned from getting her food and almost dropped it when she caught sight of josh and the boy in mid conversation. josh noticed jennas presence and he looked at her with the hugest smirk ever.

"Oh hey jenna! i invited tyler here to come and sit with us, hes sick as frick so i think you guys will warm up pretty quickly to each other." josh spoke while glancing between them once jenna took her seat beside him.

jenna shrugged nodding, "i have him in my science class and he does seem pretty awesome." she turned to tyler, smiling at him with her pearly whites. "hey tyler its good to see you again so welcome to our table." her clear, sparkling, ocean blue eyes lit up when tyler shyly smiled at her.

This year will go well thought josh as all three engaged into a very deep conversation about taco bell.
