"Will you go on a date with me this Saturday?"

Is what he said, and I'm shook to the very next level-- hahaha...

"A date...?" I rang it to my ear.

Did I hear that right? I'm not dreaming nor am I imagining things. What to do? What to do? This would be my very first date!

Taking a deep breath, "sure," I replied.

Julian looks surprised. WHAT TO DO?!? WHAT TO DO?!? Ah!!!! My face is doing it again.

He was smiling while I was in a panic. "Okay, See you on Saturday." He bid, and he was about going to go. I shouted, "AMAI! AMAI!" and Julian was stunned or startled.

"Let's meet up at Amai, Amai at 10, okay?" I believed that my face is red as an apple as I hear my heart beat loudly. But what will he think?

"Okay," he stolidly replied. However, I felt happy and relieved. After Julian left, I went inside my house.

"How's your day, Rina?" Asked my older brother, Chrysanthemum.

"Good," I happily replied.

(Chrysanthemum stared at Rina as she went straight upstairs.)

"Go down when I call you! I will prepare dinner, okay!" Shouted brother.

"Okay!" She yelled back.

(Chrysanthemum headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner.)

"She looks happy, that's good, but why is her face red?" Asked Chrysanthemum to himself as he readied dinner.

I entered my room, my library room, I can feel my face burning and my heart is ready to burst. I kinda feel a bit feverish, I might faint due to pure bliss. I threw myself on my bed and did my happy dance...

Taking a deep breath.

I remembered the time we spent at Amai, Amai today, we talked about plenty of things about ourselves. It's been a long time since I have a long conversation with someone. I had fun. He even asked me to go on a date with him.

'A date with Julian.'

I rang it in my mind.

"A date with Julian...."

I said it with my voice.

Hearing me say this to myself. I felt a little warmth inside me and it felt so good. I started smiling to myself.

"I FORGOT TO READ THE BOOK I BORROWED TODAY!!!" I rolled out of my bed and fell. I mean, how could I forget about it?

I opened my backpack and grabbed the book to continue my reading.

"RINA! DINNER'S READY!!!" Yelled my brother from downstairs.

"Coming!"

And the following day at school, I was sitting quietly in the classroom, listening to my friends.

"Rina your such a child!" Laughed Carol. The others were laughing too.

"What's your favorite color?! Rina, you got to be kidding me," added Theresa.

"But I learned a lot of things about him like birthday and--" I tried to explain.

"We get it already," interrupted Carol.

Carol looked unpleased when she looked at me. The others were too... I was a little scared that they will get angry or annoyed at me.

'I was frightened.'
