Okay. Remember the last time I was mentioned in this story. My name was mentioned previously, but I really did not show my presence at all.

All I knew was after our classes for today, Rome and I were about to meet up with Julian because today we're having a night out at Kev's house, since his house is huge and he's an only child. We've been planning for this night since last week:

Kevin and Antonio are in charge of cleaning the unused room were going to sleep in-- we did draws so it's fair. Jude and Charlie are in charge for fun-- movies which they are still fighting over if it'll be 'romance' (rejected by Jude) or 'action' (rejected by Charles.) For us, you ask? We're not picky in films as long it's interesting, you know.

And for the rest; Julian, Rome, Sidney, and, I are in charge of the groceries-- snacks, dinner, drinks, or just anything that's related to food and our budget. And in case we bought too much, I brought my car just for that reason, because there are two chefs on my team-- Romeo and Julian.

But when me and Rome fetched Julian, he was seriously pissed; he was out of the mood, he talks less than usual. Rome on the other hand, doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he was overjoyed to see Shaine. Holding Shaine's both hands as he dedicated some poetic words that are meant for a lady. Shaine was smiling, but he was unpleased and crept out towards the Italian; he was like hiding behind me which made Rome teased the youngster more.

However, putting that aside, something was off with Julian. I don't know if his classmate was involved or something else. But I knew, and Rome knew that something was not right.

Since Julian brought his attitude along in the supermarket.

You can tell his bad mood while pushing the cart and that silence.

Julian let Rome decide the dinner menu. Normally, they will debate what will they cook, but now, he just lets him take care of it.

"Really," said in a sarcastic tone, "Olive oil, this is too expensive. You can buy three loaves of bread with it," said Julian to Rome which started their argument.

And so, I was wrong. Julian was happy seeing numbers with sale tags.

"Great. An egg and fish sale, and a 50% off on potatoes. This will be good in the sauce I made. I love sales."

"Albert, really?" Snarled Rome, "this is too stale, it will not excite the gentlemen."

"As long as it's good, it's fine," responded Julian back, pushing the cart to the next section. I took some snacks and sweets and dropped them in the cart, and there a bit more than what was said-- hehehe...

"...Sidney..."

My companions stared at the cart with a hill of junk-- I wouldn't say it was a hill, though.

"This is too much from what we agreed earlier!!" I got scolded by Julian.

"I thought you weren't listening. You were in a foul mood, you know," I looked away-- trying to find valid reasons with this brain of mine.

"Have you considered that this is beyond our budget, Sidney?" Asked Rome.

"I thought you would say that, so I brought extra cash," I answered.

"It's junk. Artificial flavor snacks with too much sugar and calories," Rome responded coldly that hit the arrows, "It's basically, slow poison."

"You're too much, Romeo. You make me feel bad for eating them too... But, he's right, Sid," Julian replied while returning some snacks in their places.
