(Y/n) tried her best to ignore the whispers. Ever since Alfred had declared that they were dating, she'd been getting nasty looks from the girls around the school. Not all of them of course... the grand majority were senior girls.
They said things such as; "What an attention seeker, dating Alfred barely a month after his crash." Or, "Look at her, acting as if she knew Matthew."
Alfred would roll his eyes and whisk (Y/n) away, mumbling that yeah, (Y/n) actually does know Matthew thank you very much.
Matthew would point out the girls who used to hang around him and his bother a little too often and would say they were jealous. He would also check the countdown on his arm every few minutes. He was getting antsy. It wasn't making (Y/n) feel any better either.
"Please," (Y/n) stopped Alfred before he went to class that day. "Take the glasses, I can't stand his fidgeting." She said, pressing the frames into Alfred's palm.
