Matthew was shaking. He'd crawled under (Y/n)'s blankets with her but he was still freezing. He was never one to get cold like this. Alfred used to call him The Snowman because he could sit out in the snow in a bathing suit and fell nothing. But now...
He checked his arm again and shuddered. Thirty days left.
"You better hurry." Gilbert said. Matthew looked up at the other ghost he'd encountered a few days ago. "Don't want to be stuck here like me."
Gilbert really did look like a ghost. He was extremely pale, had white hair and unusual red eyes. He'd told Matthew he was an albino while he was alive so don't worry, you don't become extra creepy as a ghost.
"I know." Matthew's teeth chattered. He tried to wake (Y/n). "Is it always this cold for us at night?"
Gilbert shrugged. "It'll get worse. That's why you should profit of the sun during the day."
"You don't seem very cold." Matthew accused.
"You get used to the cold after twenty years." Gilbert answered.
