The Fall was long and terrifying. Morgan was so full of rage, how dare He do this to him and to his family. As he fell all he could hear was the screams of the others. He looked at the ground he was falling for quickly towards but it opened up. It was only big enough to get him through. He felt the heat of what lay under the open earth smack him in the face causing screams to fall from his lips. He saw angels around him land on the earth's surface but he continued falling into the great opening. Morgan landing on his stomach with a sickening crunch, he forced himself to lie on his back. His wings were gone and he was in intense pain. He looked up to see the opening he fell through close up. He felt panic pulse through his veins and mind. He was alone. This was his punishment. The screams that left him were animalistic and so sorrowful it would reduce any cold hearted being to tears. His bones were broken, his wings were gone and he had no one. His bones took days to heal and it was agonising. For the next hundred years he spent them alone growing bitter and hateful to everyone above him. How dare they be happy and surrounded by people they didn't appreciate. He found a way to live on the earth's surface and caused mischief and pain wherever he went. As he went around the globe he saw familiar faces; fallen angels. He quizzed them about his only brother who fell with them but they each told him the same, "he is searching for you."

In the year 731 Morgan finally found his brother by that time David had become as bitter and twisted as Morgan. The humans called Morgan the Devil and had done since man crawled the surface. He lived up to that name. David and Morgan hugged harder than they ever had, for now they were not alone, they were together at last. The time had changed and people claimed they were more civilised but they still were the vile creatures they had always been and together the brothers set out on a wave of terror.
This continued for thousands of years. They had truly missed each other and now they would seek vengeance for keeping them apart. Wherever Morgan went David followed; David was Morgan's devoted follower. The humans called David a demon and the Devil is always with the demons it is the way of evil. They were both as bad as each other causing death, violence, panic, and hate everywhere they went. They had flames in their eyes and stone in their hearts. David had wild black hair and Morgan had vibrant ginger hair, both had gleaming black eyes. They always looked the part. They were terrifying.

Around 1200 they ventured back to where Morgan was banished. They decided they needed the rest. David always seemed ready to destroy but Morgan wanted to challenge people, he had become interested in the human beings. Under the earth's surfaced they sat on thrones of bones in the heat of what humans called Hell. Occasionally during their rest they summoned humans to torture and punish but David never wanted them to leave alive, he never let go of his hate and Morgan had become frustrated with it. So in this time he rested with the quiet he had grown to tolerate whilst David ventured out on his own. Morgan had hoped that the venom in David would eventually cool and he would become as interested as Morgan had. Eventually David settled into a deep sleep that lasted 600 years.

1800 came and times had evolved. Technology was becoming more wonderful. David had awoke to this new time while Morgan had watched the times change. Morgan was less wrathful and watched David's interest being peaked. They walked with man in the correct fashion. They met a group of wealthy young men who looked the same age as the brothers appeared to be, they went out to social events with these young men. At one of these events David met with a young woman called Elizabeth, she was beautifully pale with curled black hair and piercing blue eyes. He became obsessed with the young woman, Morgan could see his flames replaced with love. He saw him becoming weak as a mortal. The brothers had an argument one summer night in 1823 when David had decided he was wanted to marry Elizabeth. The row heightened to a physical fight which left both brothers with broken bones and external injuries. David went to Elizabeth, she wept whilst holding him in her garden. Morgan followed silently. While Elizabeth tended to the cuts to David's face a man came to the doors with a gun and candle. Elizabeth screamed and David tried to stand. She was declaring her love for David and her father was shouting back thrusting his gun towards David. David made no attempt to fight back. Elizabeth's sobs became louder and Morgan appeared closer to the father and growled startling the older man, Elizabeth screamed as fleshy horns appeared on Morgan's forehead. David pulled Elizabeth close to him, his eyes became blacker like they did in the old days but they were aimed towards Morgan and not to the man who had been threatening him. David lunged at Morgan ignoring the screaming pain his body felt, the father dropped the candle and made an attempt to drag Elizabeth away but she would not leave David, the fight between brothers escalated again as it always did causing the father to raise his gun again. He was trembling with fear causing the gun to shake uncontrollably. He fired without looking. The brothers stopped fighting because of the loud bang. They checked their bodies for gunshot wounds but a sudden realisation came over them when Elizabeth weakly called out to David. He rushed to her side as she fell to her knees gripping her stomach. He wept for the first time as he lay Elizabeth gently in his lap. Her father realising what he had done dropped to him knees but made no attempt to try to comfort his daughter. David stroked her hair and told her he loved her more than anything in the world to which she replied she would have married him no matter what her father said. She would have lived her life with him happily, she would have had his children gladly. She would love him forever. He lowered his head and kissed her. Morgan stood in complete shock seeing his brother weeping on the ground holding a human. David pulled Elizabeth into a sitting position and hugged her, there was nothing either brother could do, both knew they couldn't save her. He clung to her hours after she had finally passed. He never stopped crying even when her hysterical mother carried her daughter into the house. He didn't even stop when he snapped her frozen father's neck. Morgan watched as he walked into the house dragging the father's body behind him, he didn't dare to follow him. Morgan felt responsible for the death of Elizabeth and felt remorse for the first time, his intention was to protect his brother who he searched for and who searched for him. Morgan left but heard that the house burnt down and Elizabeth's body was missing.

The brother saw each other once in 1915 where David made it pretty clear he wanted nothing to do with Morgan again. However Morgan noticed a bracelet that he knew instantly belonged to Elizabeth, she was wearing it the first time she met the brothers. It was a plain chain that on her looked as if it was made of pure diamonds and pearls instead of just gold. David would never let go what happened, the flames were back in his eyes and it was Morgan's fault.
