Old blue-eyed Klein Bastille is a marriage counselor who graduated from Hampton University. He is quite well-renowned because even Hollywood's biggest celebrity married couples have sought after him. Another rock star.

John flips the calling card while on the phone contacting the number written on it.  A lady's voice, sweet as honey, answers.

"Dr. Bastille's office."

"Yes, this is John McGraw. I was wondering if Dr. Bastille's schedule is not full next week?"

"What day, Sir?"

"Saturday."

"Let me see. Oh, you're lucky. Just one couple at 9 A.M. Will the next hour be alright with you?"

"Hmmm... I guess so. Listen, I'll have to call you back. Many thanks."

He hangs up.

"Who was that, John?" Liz from the bathroom comes out.

"Caleb. Just checking in from the studio."

"Oh, I see."

John stands up from the edge of the bed and goes out the door. He has to clear his head if he's going to talk to Liz about the doctor.

There's nothing to lose, Johnny boy.

But he's afraid. For the first time in his life, he's afraid.

What am I going to tell her? Of course she'll freak out, damn it. Nothing's wrong with seeking for a marriage counselor, hell, celebrities do it. And I ain't half as famous as them anyway. This is 1994. It's the time of the high-risers, bigger and louder beepers, and divorce.

Divorce.

Goddamn it.
