Jungkook knocked on the door three times then he stood straight and waited for it to open. Minyoung opened the door quickly, thinking it was her mom. When she saw that it was Jungkook, she let out a small squeal and stumbled forward.
Luckily, Jungkook caught her arms before she could fall face first on the cold floor. "Aish, be careful." he said and helped her up.
Minyoung fixed her clothes and looked at Jungkook who was staring at her. He was in awe. She was beautiful, he thought. He didn't notice that he was staring for so long and Minyoung had to snap her fingers in front of his face to bring him back to reality.
"Earth to Jeon?"
Jungkook stepped backwards and cleared his throat. "I-I.. uh.. You look... beautiful.."
Minyoung's lips curved up to a shy smile. "Thank you.." Jungkook held out his hand and she took it without any hesitation. They walked downstairs and found Minyoung's parents waiting for them by the door.
"Are you going now?" Mrs. Lee asked when the couple came. Jungkook nodded. Mrs. Lee walked up to him and pinched his cheek. "Such a handsome young man." Jungkook chuckled and looked down to hide his flushed face.
"Aigoo, don't embarrass the poor boy in front of his date." Mr. Lee said while wriggling his eyebrows at his daughter. Minyoung squinted her eyes and looked down in embarrassment.
"Well, you should go now. We don't want to waste your precious time!" Mrs. Lee said and pushed the two out of the house. Mr. Lee went to her side. "Be back before eight!" he shouted and gave a thumbs up when Jungkook turned around. He nodded and waved goodbye to Minyoung's parents. Minyoung turned around and waved goodbye as well.
Hand in hand, the couple walked around the streets of their neighborhood.
They passed by Jimin's house and Jungkook used his free hand to point to it. "That's where I live." he said. Minyoung looked at the house. It was a big house, that's for sure. She wasn't surprised at all though, Park Jimin's family is really freaking rich.
"Where are we going?" Minyoung asked out of curiosity. Jungkook shook his head. "It's a surprise..."
Minyoung nodded her head and let him lead her to wherever he was going. Her legs felt really tired now. They've been walking for quite a while. She mentally cursed herself for being so unfit.
Jungkook stopped walking all of a sudden, causing Minyoung to bump onto his back. She rubbed her nose and looked around.
"This place looks familiar.." she mumbled.
"Of course it does. We went here the day before." Jungkook replied as a matter of fact.
Jungkook brought them to the playground where they had their unofficial first date. He let her sit down on a bench, knowing that she's tired from walking.
"I prepared something special for you.." he said as he sat beside her. She instinctively rested her head on his shoulder. "Really?"
"Yeah, just wait till later."
Minyoung gave him a look of disapproval. "Why not now?"
Jungkook laughed softly and held her hands. "I want to stay like this for a while... I like having you for myself.."
The two spent a good 30 minutes like that when Jungkook decided to show her the surprise. It was almost getting dark out, he noticed. He got up and pulled her along with him, placing his arm around her waist.
"The hyungs helped me with this... I'm not really sure if you'll like it though..." Jungkook said as he led her to an unknown part of the playground.
Time seemed to go by faster as their surroundings got dimmer and dimmer. Jungkook was carefully leading Minyoung the way to the surprise. The girl had he eyes glued on the sunset in front of her. She never knew that there was this part of the playground. It was breathtaking.
Jungkook smiled when they finally arrived. Minyoung was still too engrossed in watching the sunset that she didn't even notice that Jungkook had stopped walking and had let go of her hand.
She turned around wanting to ask Jungkook to take a picture of her with the sunset in the background. "Jungk-" she gasped when she saw it.

Jungkook pulled out a rose behind his back and handed it to her. "Surprise.."
