Weston calls me over for my flight. I step into the plane with him and we quickly arrive in district four. I am driven to Molly's house by men in white suits, who we refer to as "peace keepers." We stop in front of a nice house by a large body of water. The peace keepers open the car doors for me, and I walk up to the front door of the house.
I knock on the door, and a boy I don't recognize opens it. "President Snow, what are you doing here?" He asks. No one has ever called me President Snow before. It sounds kind of cool. "I'm here to see Molly," I say, "you must be her boyfriend." "Rider Odair," he says and extends his hand for me to shake.
He calls Molly over, "Raven I wasn't expecting you," she says. "I have to tell you something important," I tell her. She lets me inside and has me sit down on her couch. "What's up?" She asks nervously. "I'm pregnant," she says. "Wow, that's amazing, I'm so happy for you," she says and hugs me.
"I don't know," I say, "Once you have the baby, trust me you'll be so happy," she says. I shrug, "I guess your right," I say, "well, I'm gonna go now." She waves and Rider walks me out. The peace keepers come and bring me to the plane, where Weston is waiting.
We arrive back in the Capitol and I am taken to the presidential palace. "Just so you know, when you're later in your pregnancy, you can't be flying places," Weston tells me and I nod. I look for Jared, "I'm sorry I acted all weird earlier," he says.
"It's cool," I say, "we're both nervous anyway." We go to the dining hall for dinner. "Champagne?" Peter offers, I reach my hand out to take it, "No drinking when your pregnant," I hear my dad say. Peter raises an eyebrow, "Hold up Eaton, did you just say she's pregnant?" He asks.
I nod, "Found out today," I say. "Well then, I'll drink to that," Peter says taking a long sip of champagne. I scoff and sarcastically roll my eyes. "I can still drink, right?" Jared asks, "Yes Jared, you can drink as much as you want," my dad says. Jared picks up a glass of champagne and starts drinking it.
"Stick to water," my dad says to me, "it's only for nine months." I finish eating and I go upstairs to take my makeup off and get ready to go to bed. I fall asleep quicker than usual.
"Wake up," Jared says. I open my eyes a little bit, "It's important, wake up," he says. I sit up, "What's wrong?" I ask. "There's something happening in district thirteen," he answers. "What do you mean?" I ask, "I don't know, but Weston says they're up to something," he says.
I get up and go to the makeup room. Keith quickly does my makeup with with no eyeliner and straightens my hair. Petra dresses me in a jumpsuit filled with diamonds and nude pumps. I quickly go to the conference room where my parents, Jared, and Weston are.
"There's some activity going on in district thirteen that doesn't seem to good," Weston says. He clicks a button on a remote and a screen lights up. A video starts playing, "There are groups of people leaving their jobs. Jobs that supply us with things," he says.
"It's nothing really major, but what do you suggest we do?" He asks me. "There's no need to really do anything since this is minor, but have peace keepers surround thirteen," I say. Weston nods and writes something down. "General Cliff has become the head peace keeper. I'll talk to him about instilling more people in thirteen," Weston says.
"Great, we got that under control," Jared says. "Oh and Raven, later in your pregnancy, I wouldn't suggest wearing heels," my mom says. I nod and walk out of the room with Jared.
