"Fraternal twins," Caleb says, "you're having a boy and a girl." Jared and I look at each other with complete happiness. I'm more exited than shocked to know that I'm having two kids. It's been a little over eight months since I found I'm pregnant so I'm supposed to deliver in about a week.

"If I were you, I'd stay in the presidential palace and not really do anything because you never know," Caleb says. I nod and go to the sitting room, which is surrounded by large windows. Peter is there with Marlene. "Hey," I say, they look up at me, "What's up?" Marlene asks.

"I'm having twins," I say, "a boy and a girl." Marlene's face lights up, "Wow, I'm so happy for you," she says. "Great, now there's gonna be two little kids running around here," Peter says sarcastically. "Shut up," I laugh, "Don't listen to him, he's just jealous," Marlene says.

"Jealous of what?" Peter asks, "that I don't get to be a mom? I know it's a real shame." Marlene and I laugh. I sit down next to them. "I just can't believe at any moment you're gonna be a mom," Marlene says. I sigh, "I'm so scared, but at the same time I've never been so excited," I say.

We sit together for a while until the sun goes down. We go to the dining hall, but I don't eat anything. I just walk with Peter and Marlene there and go straight to my room. I've been so tired lately so I've been sleeping early and things like that. It's been especially easier for me to fall asleep fast.

I wake up next to Jared and without thinking I go as fast as I can to Caleb's room. "Caleb!" I say, he jumps up. "Get me to the medical room and bring my parents and Jared," I say. He rushes me to the medical room and has me lay down. I hear footsteps running in, footsteps that belong to my parents and Jared.

Caleb tries to keep my blood pressure down and I try to keep myself as calm as possible. The rest of the time is a complete blur. I feel pain for what feels like a few seconds then I hear my mom say, "Here they are," with tears in her eyes. She lays two small bodies in my arms, and my eyes fill with tears.

"Hey guys," I say, "I'm your mom." Jared comes next to me and looks over at them. I hand them to him and his eyes water. "They're precious," he says. I see my dad smiling, he wipes his eyes. "What are you naming them?" Caleb asks. Jared and I had already come up with a name for each of them.

"The girl is going to be Alannia Snow," I say. "And the boy is going to be Coriolanus Snow," Jared says. "Alannia and Coriolanus," my mom says. I hear Petra come in, "Oh and don't think I don't already have a whole wardrobe ready for them," she says and smiles at me.

My dad comes to Jared and my side. Jared hands Alannia and Coriolanus to him. My dad looks at them, and his eyes look content. He smiles at the two of them. "Coriolanus is two minutes older," my mom says. My dad lets me hold Alannia and Coriolanus again. They're eyes are closed, and I'm anxious to see them open.

"I need to run some tests on them, make sure they're healthy," Caleb says. He takes them from me and brings them into another room. I wait an hour for him to come back. "They're perfectly normal," he says. He hands them to me, Alannia wearing a light purple onesie and Coriolanus wearing a white onesie.

After a while Caleb says it's okay for me to leave the medical room. Jared and I take Alannia and Coriolanus to the sitting room. Peter, Marlene, Uriah, and Kendall come into the room. Their eyes fall on Alannia and Jared. For the first time ever, I see Peter's eyes tear up. "Wow," is all he can say. Marlene and Uriah smile at them. "They're adorable," Marlene says.

Kendall looks me in the eyes, "They're lucky to have you as their mom," she says.
