this still feels insane.

I need to let them kill you now.

My breath is stuck in my throat.

Your eyes go dim,

your face relax,

No more pain.

Now I know, I did the right thing.

Just in this moment,

my tears stop in their tracks.

Just in that moment,

our pain was gone.

To that one moment,

because all the rest,

just seems to hurt more.
