"May!!!!!!!!!!!!"Mom's voice echoed throughout the whole Hamilton Mansion. Yes, my dad has a mansion.
"Mom?" I said sheepishly, walking down the long stairway and unto the Patio, where mom gets 'inspired' to write journals.
"I need you to babysit my new friend's kids this evening alongside June(my little sister-Yes. My mom is obsessed with Month names *shrug*) Don't worry they are easy to handle and you would get a good allowance and-" mom began
"Mom... "
"May, please. I know you are tired but there's a programme coming up and I really need to go and your dad... well you know how busy he is... And I just want to help a friend out-"
"Mom!" Did she hear me call the first time?
"May!" Well she heard me now, I guess
"You didn't let me answer" I let out a breathe I didn't realise I was holding, "I'll help. Don't worry, Mom"
"Oh Thank you Thank you Thank you!" She praised and soon after, Dad walked in, grasping Lil' J in his arms... she was fast asleep. How cute.
It's actually ironic seeing as people could despise their little siblings... I mean, they are just soooooo ah-dorbs!
Dad cut my thoughts, "Hun, I'll be travelling this weekend to deal with some stuff... i won't be gone for long-Just a mon-"
"James! Why?!?!????? " Mom screamed. She never liked the idea of dad going on business trips. She always got depressed when he left
"I know I know. But I need this trip... You have to understand. I-" Mom cut him off and stormed off to God knows where-What? I said it was a mansion remember? she could be anywhere!
Mom was being childish right now. It was just a month. By now she should have gotten used to him never being around-well i did... AND I'M ONLY SIXTEEN!
I sighed, shrugged my shoulders and took June from Dad's arms. I gave him an apologetic look and climbed up the stairs with June, making sure not to drop her, then laid her down on her fairytale bed once I made it to her room.
I had homework to do so I skipped to my room and got to work.
