I packed my bags quickly and made my way to Melody's dorm. She had already packed her bags and was tidying her room up a little. There was still time before mom and dad arrived so I helped her clean up.

"I'll miss you May Hamilton, if that's your name" she mimicked and we both laughed
"I knew it! You stole my diary!" I playfully punched her, "All jokes aside, I'll miss you. So so much. At least you didn't bail out on me, bestfriend"
She gasped, "Is this official?"
"Yes darling. I'm asking you to be my girlfriend" I chuckled
She came in for a hug and I hugged her tighter. She pulled away, "Let's get going" she said
We grabbed our bags and moved out.

I walked into my room and dropped my bags. I was exhausted. I threw myself on my Queen size bed and closed my eyes. I missed home. And at the same time I hated being back home. I am so sure Nick knew I had arrived today and I wasn't ready to see him yet. Not after all I heard about him...

I switched on my laptop. Gosh I so missed her... Yes, I named my laptop Purple shiny. Don't judge.

I saw a notification and opened it. *sigh*

"May" He said
I fake smiled, "You still remember my name?  Impressive"
"Um..." He sighed, "Sorry I couldn't make it the last time"
"Don't worry about it. I guess you didn't want to see your past mistake. I understand" There was no point in hiding I knew about him and Deli. Maybe he could explain everything to me
He stared at me for a while, probably shocked I knew about him and Delilah, "I-I'm coming over. Don't move. Stay right there"
I stared at the screen as it went blank.
Shit. I don't want to see him right now- "May..." Too late
I turned. "Um... Hi. Could you use the door next time?"
"Forget about that. What do you know about me?"
"Well,  I know that you are called Nicholas Hayes. You live next door. You never like using the door... "
"This is no time for jokes May. What did Delilah tell you?"
"I'm a lady. I don't kiss and tell. You could go and ask her. Carry a condom though...Knowing you, you are gonna do more than just asking" I smiled
He grabbed my arm, "Let.Go" I said firmly
"Just because I'm all cool with you doesn't" he pressed harder. I winced, tears building up, "doesn't give you the right to make that comment. I don't know what you heard and I'm sorry if you heard some shitty things about me. I tried May. I tried to change and you can't-"
"I. Don't. Care. Now let go of me and I'll scream," my voice broke
He let go and grunted. He ruffled his hair and looked remorseful, "Sorry May. So so sorry"
"Just leave" tears escaped my eyes
This time he didn't fight to stay. He climbed out. I fell to my knees and cried my heart out.

‡Nick's POV‡
I ran to the creaks. Where I liked to hang out anytime I felt like I didn't belong anywhere. I swear I didn't mean to hurt her. She shouldn't have gone to that school. She shouldn't have stuck her nose where it didn't belong.
"I shouldn't have kissed her" I said out loud
"And you shouldn't have left C High" I heard a familiar voice. It wasn't the voice I wanted to hear. It wasn't May. I clenched my fists and turned
"Delilah." I managed to say. She ran in for a hug and I pushed her away. "What do you want? Why come back here? I left Cadence for you. What more do you want from me?" I fumed
"I want you" she said plainly, "I want to be yours right here"
I chuckled. She smiled, thinking I was going to give in. "Bitch... Keep your STIs"
I said flatly and walked away

I saw him walk away as tears filled my eyes... No one wants me anymore. No one ever will
Ethan chose May over me and now it's so obvious Nick is inlove with May even if he doesn't show it or realise it
That bitch.
I wonder where she lives.
