"Keep this," I said handing her the phone. "Mrs. Harold is taking it way too far. "

"How do I use it?" Emily asked, scooting closer as we sat on the edge of the bed, both legs out.

"This is the only name that's in the contacts right there. Just tap on it and press on the green button."

She nodded, sighing as I rubbed my forehead, sweat dripping from it.

Today was not good along with yesterday. I've spent more than just thirty minutes with Emily, knowing it's time for me to finally stand up for her and me.

"Ross," she croaked out, gulping slowly. Her swollen lips were parted, breaths coming out of them, "I'm scared."

"Angel, as long as you've got me, everything will be fine. We have to stay strong."

"What if they come? What if I get caught, huh? What if, Riker came back-"

"Don't you ever let his name roll out of your mouth, " I held her shouldrrs, shaking them as she looked down, tears coming down her face. "That bastard will not touch your body ever again. I promise, alright? I'm taking revenge. Whether the people back at that huge apartment like it or not. "

"Your family's home?" She inquired looking up at me.

"Emily," I ran my hands down her arms, to reach her petite palms. "You're my only family, and your hug is my only home. "

"Don't say that, they adopted you, love," she smiled sadly as I chuckled sarcastically.

"Rydel is the only one. I over heard them, Emily. They regret adopting me."

"What happened? What did they say?"

"Well," I started.

*I was coming down onto the kitchen to grab some water when I heard my name being spoken from mom and dad's bedroom.

"I don't know, honey. The way Riker fought with him today was not pleasing. We don't want him to get in between our kids. Plis, we both know we kinda wanted a small child and nor an eighteen year old."

I silently scoffed, shaking my head, smiling in disappointment. I was a mistake.

"Are you saying you regret adopting Ross?"

"Don't deny you're not." *

"Awh Ross," Emily cooed patting my shoulder. "I'm so sorry."

"You don't have to be. It's really not your fault," I replied smiling sadly at her.

She looked back at me, with her warm, chocolate brown eyes, like she was sending me comfort through them. "You'll always have me. No matter what."

"The same goes to you, Angel," I replied holding her neck softly. She looked down, resting her forehead on mine.

I leant forward, planting a kiss on her luscious lips, making her kiss back slowly. Our heads moved along with our lips, sending shivers down my spine.

She was an amazing kisser, really. It was all too good.

I brought her on my lap by her waist, our lips never move goes apart.
