I was leaning on the kitchen counter with my chin in the palm of my hands, watching the lady—who my employer sent out of my room earlier—cook dinner when Andres walked in. He's back in his usual suit and skinny tie. Those sexy chocolate orbs of his met mine for a bit before he smiled.

I watched him walk towards the lady and handed her something before smiling at me again and walking out of the kitchen.

Sometimes I feel like having Ariana Grande sit beside me and sing 'Daydreamin' whenever Andres is around.

"Dreamy, ain't he?"

I almost jumped at Michael's voice.

I turned to my left and stepped to my right when he leaned on the space on my left.

Where did he even come from?

I just shrugged and wondered if he's trying to gauge whether I'm really attracted to his brother or not.

Hmp. I won't let you see through me you creepy bastard.

I suddenly felt the need to make sure that my humongous boss is nearby in case I need back up. But then he wasn't around.

Useless tower!

"My brother's in his office" the devilish brother said as if answering the unbidden question inside me.

I just gave him a short nod before watching the lady cook dinner again.

"You're a very interesting girl."

I looked at him again and gave him a small smile. I honestly don't know if I should take what he said as a compliment or not.

Why is he even talking to me?

"What fascinates you?" he asked and I felt myself swallow a bit.

"What fascinates me?" I raised a brow and he nodded.

Fascinate is a bit of a strong word but then I guess I have to answer him.

Of course you have to answer him! You have to make sure your pretense succeeds so that your employer would get what he wants and then you'll get what you want.

"There're a lot of things that fascinate me" I answered after a few seconds of silence. "Music's one thing—how about you?"

I decided to throw him the question and it seemed like he wanted me to do so.

"Secrets" he genuinely smiled and I furrowed my brows.

"Secrets?" Would you like some sugar too?

"Yes, secrets fascinate me. They're very powerful things."

"So I've heard" I nodded. My mind wandered to Hunger Games though, especially to Sam Claflin's cute smile.

"You see, you strike me as someone who's good at secrets."

I bit the side of my tongue to stop me from making any reactions.

I just gave him a no-I'm-not sort of chuckle and smirk and he just nodded.

"I'm actually good in secrets too" he continued after a minute. "I can see that you're the type that's good in keeping secrets. I on the other hand, am good at finding out about them."

That sent alarms throughout my system. Was he warning me? Did he find out about our secrets—more importantly, mine?

Relax George. You don't know that yet.

I decided to avert his gaze and looked at the lady who was cooking since she's done cooking. I hope I didn't look too nervous or shocked with what he said.
