"Come in" Andres gave me a smile before walking back inside his pad.

I scratched the back my head and smiled back at his back as I walked in.

"So where are the others?" I asked and waited for him to emerge from the kitchen.

"They're on their way. I'm glad you came."

"Well," I furrowed my brows when I thought of my fake lover "I was alone at home since Mr. Northman had to go somewhere, so I thought I'd come."

Making myself comfortable on his couch, I watched him walk around. I don't even know what he's doing. Snacks were already laid out on the table, TV's plugged in and his DVDs are out.

I thought of the question I had and decided to ask him instead.

"I thought this place is sort of confidential. Did your friends sign an NDA too?"

Andres chuckled before looking at the mirror.

"They didn't" he answered before walking towards me. "The man of the house is cool with it since he knows all of them personally."

"Really?"

"Yeah" he nodded coolly. "They all used to work here so they know the drill. Axis was the second to the last assistant before you."

"I didn't know that" I mumbled. "So he got fired?"

Andres answered with a laugh and a nod.

"Axis got into a heated argument with the big man the first time Michael visited this place. He wasn't supposed to give out the address—something you already know—but he thought it didn't apply to his brother."

"Wow" I raised my brows and he nodded.

"They're all good now though."

"So they know about the whole bodyguard thing."

"They do" he scratched his nose and sat down beside me. "But that's the only thing they know since they're not in the secret circle."

I furrowed my brows and pouted at him. "Secret circle?"

"The circle" he said as if I've forgotten what it is. No one told me about a damn circle. "The secret circle consists of you, me, and Adam Northman."

"Shouldn't it be a triangle?"

"Circle sounds cooler than secret triangle."

"Okay" I decided to let it go.

It didn't take too long until Andres' friends came, and his place gained more life than it did when it was just the two of us. Everyone talked and talked until Axis chose a movie and everyone started eating.

It didn't make Axis not pay attention to me though. As soon as he saw me, he started conversing with me. Asking me whether I'm happy being the fiancée of the 'Man of the House' because if not, he'd ask me to run away with him.

Andres of course, quietly intervened by joking that I already have reservations with someone else. I don't know what he meant, but it embarrassed me just a little bit because it sounded like I'm such a dirty slut.

Still hanging out with Andres, in case you're wondering.

I bit my lower lip as I hit send. I don't know what drove me, but I felt like letting him know what I'm up to.

Noted. I'll pick you up once I'm done here.

I smirked at how fast he replied.

Are you in a meeting? I replied, curious with what he's doing.
