Don't go.

It could end up okay.

It won't.

He doesn't care about you.

Nobody does.

You're going.

Thoughts overwhelmed Jin to the point he needed a break. He felt he needed some time away from his brain, but in just ten minutes Jin would have to leave and meet 'everyone' at a nearby park. He contemplated just staying home and playing the 'something came up' card but he fought against the temptation. If he was going to be beaten up or made friends with, he needed to know as soon as possible. Besides, the choices were:

A) go outside and have a 50% chance of assault

B) stay home with a definite chance of at minimum verbal abuse from his mother.

Jin decided to take his chances with the first option.

The boy grabbed his keys from the pot near the door and walked out of his shabby house, not bothering with calling out a 'goodbye' to his passed out mother.

The entire walk might of been only a few minutes but it felt as though the time was multiplied by thousands. Jin reached the park and looked for any signs of anyone he could recognise. Luckily, he saw blonde hair over near the swings.

Jin walked over and realised that he was the last one to arrive and everyone was already talking with each other. "Jin! We were worried you wouldn't show up. Uh, this is Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok." Namjoon gave one of his smiles to Jin, who was breaking on the inside.

They're judging you.

"You're the kid that doesn't listen to anyone, right? Our teachers all hate you."

"Yoongi!" Jimin scolded the older with a small slap on the arm. "Be nice, he looks terrified."

Jin couldn't get it round his head. Why wasn't he bleeding? He wasn't on the floor crying or anything.

You're an idiot.

"Sorry... Anyway can we go back to mine because outside sucks and I want a nap." Yoongi didn't wait for an answer before he started walking away from the group, making everyone follow behind him. Jin awkwardly walked behind them, not sure how much of a good idea it was to come out today.

Yoongi's house was big, as expected. It had coasters, which was a small detail that Jin would've loved to have in his 'home' but his parents saw it as a waste. It had an un stained carpet, no cigarette burns included, there was a huge kitchen as well. Jin almost cried, he wanted this. He wanted a normal house that smelled of a lavender incense like Yoongi's did.

Jin took his shoes off and watched everyone get comfortable as if they'd been here thousands of times and they probably had. The boy joined Namjoon and Hoseok on a sofa and smiled seeing Yoongi sat next to Jimin on another. He was pulling Jimin's sleeve and complaining that they weren't sitting in the right position. Eventually Yoongi gave up and fell asleep with his head on Jimin's lap. Jin smiled at how he was scared of this guy.

"Hey so Namjoon, did you do the science homework? It's due in tomorrow." Hoseok and Namjoon started talking and Jin couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. Deep down, Jin thought and hoped he'd have Namjoon to himself for a few hours, but that didn't seem to be happening. In fact, everyone kind of forgot he was there. Jimin was too busy going through Yoongi's phone and the other two were talking about anything they could, so Jin just sat and waited patiently for a summon. He would go on his phone to make himself look less weird but he had no friends to text and his phone was too outdated and cheap for apps so instead he just looked around the house.

This was the first house he was invited to since he started at the school, and he wasn't even really invited. He just came along. Still, by the second, Jin loosened slightly. He didn't know why he was so nervous and scared when these people could be described as cuddly. Yoongi was still questionable, but the others were definitely harmless.

Jin's gaze found itself switching from innocently looking around, to borderline staring at Namjoon. He took in every detail from his eyes to lastly, his lips. He didn't want to stop looking, so he didn't. Jin was so absorbed that he almost jumped when he saw Namjoon's eyes shift and meet his own. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, yeah I'm good I'm okay." The older boy lost his words and just looked downwards. Jin couldn't remember the last time he had a crush, it felt . . . exciting. He liked the feeling of adrenaline he felt when Namjoon caught him and missed the feeling of blood running to his cheeks. Nobody felt special to Jin anymore, everyone was similar to each other and held nothing great so Jin avoided them and didn't let himself get superficial. But something about the way Namjoon spoke to Jin pulled him in faster than he thought was possible. When he'd laugh, even if it was a small chuckle, Jin felt okay; he felt safer than he'd ever feel at his house.
