Chapter 5: Misunderstanding

Pairing: Nowaki x Hiroki

- "Caddamn rain!"

A fairly wet and annoyed Hiroki was walking down the street towards the bus-station. He hadn't checked the weather in the morning and had had no idea of the rain arriving in the afternoon.

- "Well, at least it isn't that far to the station"

Hiroki turned around the corner.

And stopped dead in his tracks.

He saw a tall figure with a shorter female standing further away from him.

-"I-is that Nowaki??"

Then the two figures lips connected.

Hirokis eyes widened in disbelief, anger and sorrow. Tears, which were luckily almost unnoticable due to the rain pouring on his face, rolled down his cheeks. Hiroki then dashed in the other direction.

After Hiroki got back to his and Nowaki's shared apartment, he locked himself in his and Nowaki's bedroom. Moments later the front door opened and a cheerful voice rang in Hiroki's ears.

-"I'm home, Hiro-san!"

Hiroki didn't bother to respond.

After not hearing any response, Nowaki went to search for his lover. His jacket and shoes we're there, so he had to be there as well!

After finding the door to their bedroom locked, he knocked.

-"Hiro-san? Are you in there?"

Still no response.

-"Hiro-san, what is it? Please let me in."

The tears started rolling down Hiroki's cheeks again at the sound of the younger male's pleading tone.

-"Just leave me alone! Go talk to your girlfriend! Bet she's much better than me!"

Nowaki looked confused.

-"Hiro-san, what are you talking about??"

-"I saw you kissing in the streets today!"

At that point, it clicked inside Nowaki's head.

-"Oh Hiro-san, that was my old friend from highschool. She has just moved in. We met today and started talking. She kissed me on the cheek, as an act of FRIENDSSHIP!"

Hiroki sat quiet for awhile. He then proceeded to get up and open the door.

At the moment the door was creaked open, he was tightly embraced by strong arms.

-"Hiro-san, you know I would never cheat on you."

Hiroki felt more tears building up at the corners of his eyes. He tightly hugged Nowaki back.
