Chapter Four: My Brother And My Friend

"Mason!" I shout and run after him.

"Where is he?!" Mason shouts.

"I don't know," I reply.

Mason looks at me before running outside into town. I groan and run after him. Summer tags along too.

"Mason!" I yell.

He's always been faster.

Mason looks around the town and I catch up to him. I put a hand on his shoulder.

"Mason, calm down," I said to him.

He turns around to look at me.

"I can't calm down," He says back.

"Mason you have to listen to me. I'm done with Lucas, okay," I said.

"Well for cheating on you I'm going to hurt him! Now, where is he?" Mason shouts.

I throughly my hands up in frustration and run a hand through my hair.

"I don't know Mason. Probably with another girl cheating on me again!" I shout back.

Mason eyes soften and he takes a step closer. He brings me into an embrace and says, "I'm sorry."

I hug back. "Don't be."

Mason pulls away and takes deep breathes. "But he is not getting out of this one," He said.

He turns his head towards the town asking if he could go find Lucas. I nod in approval.

Mason starts running.

"Should we go?" Summer asks.

"Yup. I'm not missing this," I said with a smile.

And we both start running after Mason.

"W-where is he?" Summer asks taking in a deep breath.

We ran without stopping and we were currently trying to breath. I wiped the sweat off my forehead.

"Over there," I point towards the beach where Mason is running towards Lucas, who of course is kissing another girl.

I watch as my brother tackles Lucas to the ground and Victoria screaming her head off.

Summer runs to where the three of them are and I run after her. We both stand in front of the three.

Summer takes a step closer to Victoria and slaps her hard.

"Don't ever mess with my friend again!" Summer shouts at her.

Victoria still has her hand on her cheek and when she takes it off, it's red. Victoria launches herself at Summer and they both are on the sand fighting. But Summer is winning, along with my brother.

I just watch my friend and brother beat up Lucas and Victoria. I smile.

But after I see Mason punch Lucas a few more times, I run towards him.

But someone beat me to him and is taking Mason off Lucas.

I am not surprised when it's Jacob. He has Mason in his arms and I could see both of their muscles flex. I mostly stare at Jacob's.

"Mason!" I yell.

I hold his face and make him stare at me. "It's okay. That's enough," I said.
