Chapter Seven: The Argument

I drop Jacob's jacket on the floor and it makes a wet thud sound.

"What is going on here?!" I demand.

Mason pulls away from Summer who is blushing like crazy.

"Autumn?" Mason asks.

"Yeah that's my name. Now will one of you tell me what in the world is going on here?" I ask again. I'm playing with them, I knew they liked each other for a long time. I just thought that I could tease them about it.

"Well... We... I..." Mason can't form words.

"Guys! I'm playing! It's okay if my brother and friend like each other. Although it's so obvious. I knew one day both of you were going to end up together, just not that you would take this long," I said. And it was the truth.

"You did?"Summer asks.

"Of course!" I reply.

I pick up Jacob's jacket and hang it on my chair near my desk. I just hope it dries tomorrow so I can give it back to him. I turn around and see Summer on Mason's bed. Okay then...

"So what are you guys going to do now?" I ask lying down on my bed.

"We're going to tell Jasmine, Eve, and Lucy," Mason replies.

"Tomorrow," Summer said.

"So lets move away from us and move on to you and Jacob," Mason said.

I blush instantly and say, "No!"

"Come on, why can't I meet him? I know! I'll meet him tomorrow while you hang out with Summer," He says.

"Of course not! Besides, I don't think Jacob likes me back," I whisper the last part.

"Autumn! He called you beautiful and he wants to see you tomorrow," Summer points out.

The door opens and Lucas walks in. "Who called you beautiful?" He asks.

I get off the bed and walk to him. I stand in front of him and cross my arms. "Someone I like called me beautiful," I reply.

He scoffed, "Someone you like? Please Autumn, you know you only like me. With my kisses-"

I slap him. I don't want to ever remember when he kissed me and then kissed other girls. Lucas looks mad and then grabs my arms, in a not so gently way. He pulls me close so we're only inches apart from kissing. "Leave me alone," I said through gritted teeth.

Lucas tightens his grip and is leaning close, but Mason come and pulls him off me. "Leave her alone!" Mason shouts. Mason is about to punch Lucas, but I hold him back. "Autumn," He warns.

"Yeah Autumn, leave us alone. Lets see what you got Mason," Lucas taunts.

Mason turn red and is pushing me away, but I hold on tight. Soon, Jasmine comes in the room followed by Lucy and Eve. "What's going on here?" She shouts.

"Autumn is seeing another guy!" Lucas replies.

"Liar!"I shout back.

"Enough!" Jasmine yells.

She grips Lucas' arm and pushes him out of the room. Lucy closes the door behind him and Eve says, "Tell me everything."

So I do. I tell them about how I met Jacob when I was five. How I ran into him when I was running to catch Lucas with Victoria. I tell them about how Jacob has been nothing but sweet and what he said to me today. And I top it all off with saying that I like him.
