Chapter Eleven: Long Time No See

"But I'm tired," I whined.

"Get up and go pick up Declan," Lucy said.

"Come on, it's Declan! He finally came back," Mason said.

"Yeah. Besides he made a 'friend' during the trip," Eve said.

I shot up from my bed. "A girlfriend?" I asked excitedly.

Eve smiled, "Yes."

I squealed. "Finally! Declan needs someone in his life."

"And Ariel is the perfect one for him," Lucy said.

"Her name is Ariel? That's a nice name," I said.

"Yeah and you're going to go pick up Declan and Ariel. Go get dressed," Eve said walking out with Lucy.

I groaned and got out of bed and walked to my closet. I got some jeans and an oversized shirt. It's early, who would care if I'm in these types of clothes?

I left my hair loose and pulled on my boots and jacket. "Come on Mason," I whined.

"I'm coming," He replied and we both walked out the door.

After a while of walking and talking, we made it to the boats. Declan was finally coming back from his trip.

I saw all the people come down from the boat, but I didn't see Declan.

"How does he look?" I asked Mason.

"He hasn't changed that's for sure," Mason answered.

I nodded and looked back at the boat. A huge smile spread across my face when I saw Declan, with a girl next to him. She was pretty and had blonde wavy hair.

I grabbed Mason's hand and ran towards them. "Declan!" I shouted.

He turned to face us and smiled. I jumped into his arms. "Long time no see," I said, I couldn't stop smiling.

"This is how we come to your home?" Ariel asked. "You could have told me you already had a girlfriend."

I pulled back and said, "Um excuse me but we're not dating. Declan is basically our cousin."

Mason briefly hugged Declan and said, "Yeah he's like our cousin. And besides, Autumn already has a guy in her life."

"Autumn? And I thought we said that you wouldn't date until I came back," Declan said.

"Well, Jacob's cute..." I mumbled.

"You must let me meet him," Declan said.

"Well here I am," A familiar voice said.

"He's behind me right?" I asked.

Arms wrapped around me. "Yeah I'm right here."

I turned around and looked at Jacob. "Hi and may I ask why you are here?" I asked.

"I'm here for my friend. He finally came back," Jacob replied.

On cue, a guy came running towards us
and he gave a quick hug to Jacob. "Hey, are you going to present me?" The guy asked.

Jacob smiled and said, "This is Autumn. Her brother Mason and this is Declan, but I don't know your name."

"It's Ariel and hello," Ariel said.
