AuruoxReader - Fate

She was cold, alone, lost, and afraid. All the feelings of being abbandoned during the winter times. Shivering, she rubbed her arms, trying to warm them up. If only someone would find her, would she feel at ease. 

(Name) was one a trip with her friends when the blizzard started, and she lost sight of the group. Now she was huddled by a tree, hoping the wind would stop hitting her. Breathing on her hands, she rubbed them together, looking around and moving her shoulders up to get her scarf to warm her. 

"H-Hello?!" She cried pitifully and closed her eyes. The snow was just too much for her.

A loud crunch in the snow snapped her head around, facing a man who was all bundled up. "What the hell are you doing out here? Come on, before you freeze to death." 

She shook her head. "I can't stand. I can't move anything." She started crying, unable to stay calm anymore. Finally there was someone to help, but she couldn't do anything at all. 

The man unzipped his jacket, wrapping it around her. Next, he picked her up, and treaded his way through the deep snow. "Stay awake. The minute you fall asleep, is the moment you will be dead. Keep talking to me, what is your name?"

Burrying her face into his chest, she closed her eyes and took a breath. "______. What about you?"

"Auruo. Now what are you doing out here, all by yourself?" 

(Name) felt tired all of a sudden, but forced herself to stay awake. "I was with some friends, and we were going to a cabin, I think. It got dark and I lost them." A door slam caused her eyes to open and she saw a fireplace in the room, immediately wanting to go to it. 

Auruo set her down, taking away the snow covered jacket, and stripping her. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to do this, but if you don't get out of those clothes, it will be bad." He tossed a blanket around her, pulling it tight. He hurried away and brought out a mug, taking her hand an wrapping her cold fingers around the handle.

"It's alright. So why were you out there?"

He stopped, and sat down in front of her. Scratching his head, he shrugged. "Honestly, I'm not sure. But I'm glad I did."

She giggled, smiling at him. "Keep talking and I might want to stay here forever." 

"I've already seen you naked, so I don't see why not." He laughed and she bit her lip, suddenly embarrassed. He stopped and shook his hands. "Oh god, sorry that was inappropriate." 

She leaned forward, kissing him quickly. "I'm sorry, I'm just really tired."

He nodded, and lifted her up, carrying her to his room. He placed her on the bed and crawled in beside her, pulling the covers over them. "I mean it, stay here. Not like you could leave with this weather, but that's a different topic."

"Fine, I'll stay." She smiled, closing her eyes and enjoying his warmth. It felt like she had met him before, but maybe it was just the cold talking.
