"First, The Flash is running around the city, creating havoc and now pretty girls are just falling from the sky. Yeah, totally what I had imagined to be a perfect day."
"Cisco, her eyes are twitching. I think she's w-waking up."
As if on cue, Ara Spivot opens her eyes to an environment that seemed completely unfamiliar to her. Shocked, she lifts her head and stares at the two strangers that stood in front of her. A girl with brunette hair and brown eyes that stared at you in amazement and a boy with long dark hair and dark eyes, he, as well, stared at her but had an infatuated, yet intrigued expression on his face.
Recovering from his reverie, the boy runs towards a desk that occupied majority of the room. He speaks into the accompanying microphone, "Doctor Wells, she's alive. I repeat, the girl is alive." As the boy rambles on, Ara couldn't help but notice the outdated computers and technology that laid on the desk, snickering at how old their gadgets were.
She did catch the name Doctor Wells, however. He had been known a few decades ago for creating a machine that sent dark matter into the atmosphere, which led to the creation of the metahumans –– human beings with genetic mutations–– metahumans that help shape the society into what it was today. Today... no that didn't seem right. The Doctor Wells Ara knows is dead, he'd died in a car accident with his wife.
"Can you tell us what your name is?" The girl asks and Ara frowns.
"Can't your tech do that?" She asks, suddenly realising the lack of weight on her wrists. Ara lifts up her wrists, realising that the two had taken off her armbands. The armbands that give Ara all her powers. "W-What did you do to my armbands?"
"Oh these babies?" The boy says, holding up Ara's armbands. "It took us quite a while to get them off of you but we assumed that they're quite dangerous. Besides, the tech is exquisite, something I clearly haven't seen around lately. Made of some material stronger than the metal in Oliver's arrows. A material like this doesn't even exist on this earth."
He nears Ara, his face close enough to feel his breath on her cheek. "Tell me Armband Girl, what planet you from?" When Ara doesn't answer, he rambles on. "The database didn't have any info about you on it – birthday, parents, job, age – nothing. Who are you really?"
"Cisco, stop being weird. It's creeping the girl out." The girl says, slapping him on the arm.
"Ow," Cisco says, recoiling from the girl's touch. "You didn't have to slap me Caitlin."
Suddenly, something clicks inside of Ara. "Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow?"
Caitlin pauses to turn towards her, "Wait, how do you know our names?"
Ara stares at them, "Wait you don't know me? You guys are friends of my mother, Detective Patty Spivot."
Caitlin shakes her head. "No, neither of us have heard of this Patty Spivot anywhere."
Ara jumps off the bed, stumbling as she does so. "Patty Spivot, former detective of the CCPD Metahuman Task Force. Co-worker of Joe West." They both shake their heads. "Ex-girlfriend of Barry Allen. You know, The Flash? The hero who saved Central City from–."
"I think you've got the wrong person, Spivot."
Ara turns to face Doctor Harrison Wells, the failed legend. He rolls towards her in a wheelchair, his eyes scanning her from head to toe, studying her. He disguised himself as a well-renowed doctor in a wheelchair, but, in reality, he was a killer, The Reverse Flash.
Y-You're not Wells, you're Eobard Thawne, The Reverse Flash. Ara wanted to say, but no words came out of her mouth. You're the bad guy.
"Doctor Harrison Wells," Ara says instead, her voice wary for what comes next.
"Ah yes Ara Spivot," He says, his dark eyes staring into hers. "I've heard stories about you. I believe you're in the wrong timeline."
