I had just flew across the Northern Atlantic Sea with everything I own. Do you see how that could be but frightening to a young lady who had never been in a plane before. Let alone I was moving away from home to a different country.

"Please stay seated until your section is directed to exit the aircraft. It is 6:37 a.m. here in London. Thank you and we hope you had a nice flight. Have a pleasant evening and we hope you will fly with us again" one of the flight attendants said over the speakers.
"Rows 1-20 may exit now"

I grabbed my carry on and my messenger bag and walked off the plane and into the airport to check in at customs and get my bags. Sophie had told me that my room was already furnished since it was a guest room before I moved in so most of my furniture could stay at home. That was very nice of her, this all was. I bet it was a bit strange for her to tell her roommates that her best friend was moving in with them from America.

I walked from my gate to get my bags from bag pickup. As I was waiting for mine to come around the loop, I hear a familiar voice talking to a other that I had never heard before, a roommate here to help me collect my things.

"AL!" Sophie yelled from across the crowded airport lobby.

"SOPH!" I replied running towards her leaving my bags in the floor in the middle of the bustling crowd.

We ran and hugged each other for what seemed like an hour. The man she had brought with her to pick me up with had caught up with us. We finished hugging and we both broke out into tears of joy. We hadn't seen each other in person since we were six when she came to visit us for a week in the summer that almost doesn't exist in London.

"To be honest I don't think I will miss the scorching southern sun and those miserable sun burns" I giggled to her as we release from our hug.

"I'm so pumped to show you around! You are going to love it here!" She says while grabbing me by the arm to get my bags. Her tall friend following.

"Where are my manners?" She says stopping in her tracks. "Al this is PJ Liguori, one of your new flat mates,"

"Nice to meet you!" I say holding out my hand expecting him to shake it.

"As to you." PJ said as he took my hand kissed the top if it like a prince from a fairy tale.

I felt my cheeks blush uncontrollably as the charming man released my hand and looked up at me.

"I have never seen such beautiful eyes in my life Mr. Liguori!" I coo in a fake very posh southern accent.

"Why thank you Mrs.?" He said implying my full name.

"Montoya. Alecia Grace Montoya. But you can call me Alice, Al, and if you know me well enough, AG." I giggled in my playful country posh accent I was playing with.

"How beautiful Mrs. Montoya." He giggles in response with the same accent I was playing with.

"Please, that's my mother, call me Al." I insisted as we all laugh.

I turned around to Sophie and mouthed "wow!" With a silly face.

"Well I'm PJ Liguori. But my friends call me Peej." PJ said winking at me. In a silly flirty way.

"Well let's get your bags and we will load up and go home." Sophie said humming Hey there Delilah, by Plain White T's.

A automatically recognized the iconic toon that I loved. I started to sing along and so did Peej.

Hey there Delilah

What's it like in New York City

I'm 1,000 miles away

but girl tonight you look so pretty

Yes you do

Times Square couldn't shine as bright as you

I swear it's true.
