To be honest I was looking forward to staying alone with my closest friend over the next three days. He is always so funny and can brighten any dull moment. Like last week when I had to go to the dentist. The whole way he sung to comfort me because he knows I hate going to the dentist and the doctors offices. It makes me nervous and gives me panic attacks. PJ is the most thoughtful person I have ever meet. I love him.

As James drives down the street out of sight PJ put his arm around my back and grabbed my knees carrying me bridal style onto the front step.

"Did you bring the keys?" He asked

"What do you mean?" I replied in a nervous tone.

"The door locks automatically." He said as I reached down to try to open it. Indeed locked as PJ said.

"Well shit. What now?"

"I think I might left my office window open. We could try that."

"Ok sure. It's good you are sometimes forgetful as a goldfish." I said laughing.

"Hey! I'm not that forgetful. Well maybe I am. But that's not the point!" He said trying not to laugh.

We walked back around the house to the window. It was about 8 feet up, a good bit out of my reach.

"Peej, can you lift me up? I can get in and walk through the house and let you in the front door"

"Of coarse! Good idea. I wish I was as clever as you! You just saved our asses" he said as be boosted me cheerleader style.

I climbed into the window and landed right by his desk. His colorful drawings and doodles covered the wood table top. He is so creative and sweet. I am so very lucky to have such nice people in my life who love me.

"Hey alright up there Al?" He said snapping me out of my colorful daze.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm going to let you in at the front alright?" I replied loudly.

"Alright love!" He said as he ran around the house.

I ran through the hall and made my way down the stair case to find PJ already sitting in the lounge with his shoes off. Strumming his guitar.

"You little bastard." I said laughing at him. "You had the keys the whole time didn't you?"

"Yup. I just wanted to see what you would come up with." He said starting to laugh with me.

"Well did I pass your little "test"?"

"There was not test! I just love how you think."

"What do you even mean! You are the creative one in our bunch. Why do you care about what I think? Because I love you and you love me back right?" I said walking up and sitting at the piano that was placed across the room from a guitar tuning PJ.

I turned to face the keys and started playing "Ghost Towns" by Radical Faces. PJ automatically started to join in with his guitar.

I've got no need for open roads

'Cause all I own fits on my back

I See the world from rusted trains

Anyways know I won't be back

We sing together in harmony. I was surprised at PJ's set of musical skills as the sweet sound of our voices filled the room.

I get up from the piano and run over and throw myself onto the couch next to PJ laughing and yelping as I land on the soft leather couch. Still belting lyrics in between giggles as he continues to play.

''Cause my life is all wrapped up in
today

No past no future here

It I find my names no good

I just fall outa line.

As soon as we finish that verse PJ leans over to me and kisses my lips like never before. He had only hissed my forehead or my cheek other than the time he kissed me on the day I had moved in, No where else. We weren't necessarily dating, were we? We said I love you as a friend thing, at lest that's what I thought. He pulled back from my face and shot me a goody side grin.
