Chapter 2 (home)

After we had picked up all of my bags another of my roommates, James, pulled the car around to the front and parked so we could load the car.

He pulled up in front of us and rolled down the window.

"Why hello! You must be the one and only Alice!" He said while stepping out of the car.

"that's me. And you are James correct?" I said shaking his hand and nodding.

"Last time I checked the name was James but I can't be to sure now days." He said giggling sarcastically.

"Of coarse! We can't can we?" I said trying to sound as civilized as my new friends.

He seemed sweet. I think I'm going to fit in around here with these nice people who all seemed pretty put together.

We started to load my things into the car and drove off on our way. James drove, Peej took the passenger seat, and Sophie and I sat in the back, her behind James and me behind PJ. We then drove back to their flat and got to know each other a bit. We talked about college and work, childhood, and me and Sophie's friendship.

We parked in their driveway and James unlocked the trunk as I stepped out of the car and stared in awe at my new home.

"Home sweet home." Sophie said to me as she unlocked the front door showing me inside. "I'll show you to your room."

She took me up a stair way to the next level.

"This first room is mine and this second room is yours, then PJ's, then James' farther down the hall." She instructed.

My room was next to PJ's? Wow, I just meet the guy and he is living right next to me. It is kind of strange but also pretty cool. He seemed nice and was very polite. And don't even get me started on his beautiful eyes—.

We finished unloading the car and bringing the boxes to my room. As I unpacked I heard a knock at my bedroom door.

"C'mon in!" I said as I turned to the door.

"Hey Alice! Need any help?" PJ asked poking his head into my room.

"No, that's alright, I'm about to take a break anyways." I said stepping towards the door.

"Alright then. If you are sure" he said as if he wouldn't be around if I needed anything.

"Peej, you and me share a bedroom wall. I can just come get you if I need anything." I said tying my blonde hair up into a ponytail.

"I guess you're right. Well anyways, what would you like for lunch? I was thinking Starbucks maybe? We could walk there, it's right down the street."

"Sure, let me change first."

"Alright. Make it snappy woman." He said giggling and walked out.

I threw on a oversized dark grey sweater and some jeans. I then brushed out my long blonde hair and put a maroon knit beanie over it. I slipped on my white converse and headed to the lounge where PJ was waiting. He was gorgeous! His green eyes stared into my own set of blue eyes. I just meet him a few hours ago and I already liked him! What is wrong with me! Well he seemed to like back so I guess it was ok.

"Are we ready?" He asked as I walked over to him.

"Where are the others?" I asked him.

"Just us on this run. James is working on an animation and Sophie is writing scripts." He explained as we started to walk out.

"Alright, let's do this!" I announce throwing a fist into the air.
