Okay since I love you guys a lot...I decided to publish another chapter for you guys!

You hummed along to the music playing from Lydia's car radio, the silence between the three of you uncommon but not uncomfortable. The only thing making you uncomfortable was the looks Lydia kept shooting Kira in the rearview mirror. After the fourth one you broke, "Alright! What's with the looks?"

Lydia kept her face carefully neutral and focused on the road, "What looks?"

"The ones you keep giving Kira and don't lie and say that you're not...you aren't exactly great at giving secret glances."

The strawberry blonde remained silent, so you turned in the seat to narrow your eyes at Kira, "Well?"

Her brown ones widened at your scrutiny, "I - it's just - we," she sighed heavily, "I just don't understand you."

"What?"

"With Scott...it's so easy to tell that he loves you."

You swallowed, "He doesn't love me. It's more like a partnership. A friendship." You settled back in you seat and shrugged your shoulders, "We protect each other. Just like we all do."

"Yes," Lydia looked at you out of the corner of her eye, "But Scott doesn't text me at all hours of the day and night, make sure I eat, that I got sleep the night before, and that I always get home safely."

You felt a warm blush bloom across your cheeks, "He doesn't do any of that." As if on cue, your phone vibrated from a new text from Scott. You could see Lydia's smirk, "He's asking about homework."

"And if you got home." Kira's giggle sounded over your shoulder, "He loves you just like you love him."

"I don't."

Lydia snorted, "Yes you do. Your heart eyes whenever he enters the room are a dead giveaway."

You fidgeted with your fingers, avoiding both of their gazes while Lydia parked the car in Kira's driveway.

"Hey," Kira's hand landed on your shoulder gently, "It's okay. Scott and I broke-up on very good terms and I don't mind if you do like him and you two start to date. I want you both to be happy and if that's with each other then great."

Swiveling around in your seat, you locked eyes with her to see if she was being truthful, "Really?"

"Really! You two would be so cute together!"

"If he likes me and we can handle a relationship with everything going on."

"You be surprised how much easier this life is when you know someone will always be there."

At that Kira left, leaving just you and Lydia for the ride to your place. She kept silent as you thought over the words the girls said to you.

So lost in thought, you didn't notice that Lydia had pulled into your driveway until she patted you thigh to get you attention, "You're home."

"Thanks Lyd."

She waved off your words, "Of course! Hey!" You leaned back down before you shut the car door to see her leaning over the center console, "Trust us! We know Scott and you better than you think."

You smiled, "Goodbye Lydia."

Closing the car door you made your way into your house and up to your room where you face planted on your bed and groaned.

Head fuzzy form the unplanned nap, you shook it to try and clear it when you noticed that the rest of your body was bound to the chair you were sitting it. Panic settled into your bones as you tried to break free, but you didn't have werewolf strength.
