"You'll be fine, trust me on this." My sister, aka Lydia, places a hand on my arm as she rubs it in a comforting way.

"I don't know.. This is my first time going Beacon Hills High School and I'm nervous." I sigh, holding the straps of my bag.

"Believe me, once everyone finds out you're my sister, they will try to befriend you." She winks, crouching down to grab her own bag.

"Oh that's right, you're Miss Popular." I joke, rolling my eyes. "Plus, you're only like- what?- two year younger than me?" She begins to head out her bedroom and I follow behind her.

"One. But thanks for remembering my age, sis." I say sarcastically. "Love you too, baby."

So far, Beacon Hills High isn't so bad. Lydia wasn't joking when she said that once I was known as her sister, people would start befriending me. I walked into the school this morning and no one spoke to me, until Lydia announced that I was her younger sister - that's when girls started to crowd around me. I wasn't gonna lie, I really did not like the attention.

It was finally lunch and I was on my way to my locker. I unlocked my lock and opened my locker, shoving my bag and books into it. I was in the middle of taking my jacket off - adjusting to the Beacon Hills weather was really hard. Back when I stayed in Australia for a while with my grandma, the weather was really different compared to BH (Beacon Hills).

I just came back from the airport yesterday and already Lydia enrolled me to her school. I didn't really know anyone here except for one guy that I used to have a crush on. Too bad Lydia called dibs.

Anyways, as I was taking my jacket off, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back but found no one. Not one of those tricks. I looked to my other shoulder to find a familiar face. Speaking of the devil.

"Jackson Whittemore." I smirked. "That's me." He smirked back. There was a pause between us where we just studied each other, our eyes eyeing the other person up and down. "Y/N!" He pulled me into a hug, in which I gladly returned. It was a nice and tight squeeze that only lasted for what seemed like forever. I finally met Jackson. My childhood crush that Lydia got away with. I hadn't seen him since I moved away, which was when I was 8.

He was tall, taller than I had expected. I've seen his face before, we've only face timed once every few months. Our time zones were completely divergent. But his face in real life, right in front of me, was angel-like. His face was like carved from angels, and can we just take a moment to realize how sharp his jawline is? It could literally cut me. If only looks could kill. He was wearing a leather jacket over a grey shirt. Which might I add - was tightly fitted and outlined his 6 pack abs. What a hottie.

"Y/N? You're drooling." He laughed, showing his dimple. And he has a dimple?! God bless this man. "What? Sorry." I smile back awkwardly, shuffling from my position. "You've grown.." He trails off, and so does his eyes to my body. "Uh, thanks?" I thank confused. Somehow I suddenly felt insecure about my body. "I mean, like- you've grown up beautifully." He shyly admits, shoving his hands into his jacket pocket as he sways his body around. Aw, what a cutie. "You're not so ugly yourself." I wink, making my eyebrows dance. It didn't take me awhile for me to realize that I said that phrase incorrectly. I look at Jackson to see his face all shocked. "I mean- crap-" I slap my forehead with my palm in embarrassment. "That's cute. I get what you mean." He bits his bottom lip. "Sorry, I'm kinda socially awkward. Well, I am awkward." I blurt out, covering my mouth as I spilled out a weird fact about me. "Haha, anyway." Jackson looked around, nodding his head to people that walked by as a hello gesture. Woah, was he Mr Popular or something? That does explain Lydia, they dated for a while. Well, they still are I think.
