Maia's POV

I woke up to Fools by Troye Sivan playing on my phone.

"ONLY FOOLS FALL FOR YOU ONLY FOOLS. ONLY FOOLS DO WHAT I-" I sing as i get up and start dancing.

I don't know why, but I've always loved waking up to music in the morning and just dancing around.

Dancing. Something that actually keeps me calm and something that I'm actually interested in and I don't mean that cliche ballet dancer, I'm a hip hopper.

That literally sounds so weird okay what the fuck.

I start brushing my teeth still listening to the song and then I start actually thinking, what is summer going to be like? How am I going to survive without Mike? Will he miss me? Will he even care?

I set the topic aside for another day and start getting ready for my day, I choose a casual outfit: a black crop top, a Cami, and shorts.AN: PICTURE ON TOP)

I look in the mirror and am satisfied by my look for the day. I start going down the stairs and notice that mom is sitting on the couch staring at me giving me the we need to talk look.

"What happened mom?" Realization hits me, "Oh my god did the school call and say I was owing lunch money I swe-"

"No honey I just need to talk about something come sit here" i go down the stairs and sit on the couch on the opposite side of Mom.

"Maia, i just wanted you to know that I have your ticket for London this Saturday" TWO DAYS IS SHE INSANE "And before you freak out about telling everyone, I already called Mike and dont worry he's not mad at all"

" MOM are you serious? First of all I have two fucking days to tell everyone I'm going to a whole DIFFERENT CONTINENT and your telling me to calm down?" I stand up and grab my keys for my Mercedes G-Wagon.

"Well you better start packing young lady or---" I cut her off by slamming the front door.

I unlock my car and immediately call Mike.

One ring, two ring, three ring, four ring

"Hello? Maia?" Mike speaks.

"Yea can I come over? Actually I'm already on my way?" I say kind of like a question.

"I-babe right now? Do you wanna like uh meet at like Starbucks or something? It's kind of cough cough dirty round here" Mike says nervously.

"So? Are you hiding something?" I tease.

"Babe why would I-- okay you know what come over bye." Mike says more confidently.

I cut the phone and get out of the car and lock it. I walk up to Mike's apartment and I knock three times before he opens it shirtless.

"Hey babe" Mike says with a smirk looking me up and down.

"Hey dumbass" I laugh as I close the door behind me.

"So London for the summer? You know I can't even survive a day without you" Mike says still smirking.

"Yeah I know but you know my mom" I laugh.
