"So you can't get them?" I asked again, pressing the phone into my ear.

"No."

I frowned.

"Sorry Min. I just can't get them this year."

"Alright." I sighed, shifting my phone to the other ear. "It's okay. Next year then."

"Yeah, next year."

Saying my goodbyes, I hung up and dropped my phone into my bag. I rubbed my finger under my nose before I continued walking down the street.

Yes I was pretty upset. I mean, I was really hoping for those Coachella tickets. I hadn't gone since I was a senior and this was the year to relive some old glories. A lot of my old highschool classmates bought their tickets early and only later decided to have a gathering. I was so excited for it too...

I turned on the corner, suddenly greeted by this man with dreads and incense. He offered a big smile which I returned with a grin. He held his hand out with a joint in his hand. "Need a pick me up m'am?"

"No thanks." I gently turned him down, walking away. "Not today."

Squinting at the fogged sun, I decided I wanted some sort of pick me up, just not a drug related one. I looked to the end of the block where there was the typical Starbucks filled with customers on this chilly day. But on the other side was a small cafe.

I chose the road untraveled.

Crossing the street, I walked to the little cafe called The Fireplace. It's door tinkled at my presence. Seeing that no one was really around except for a patch of people on the couch.

Frowning, I thought that I had made a mistake.

However, I ordered this rather delicious sounding coffee of almond and vanilla from their menu, quickly priding myself of choosing this over Starbucks.

As I was waiting I began tapping my fingers on the wall, listening hard to the music they played. They were playing some song that I knew Glee made a cover of. Albeit be a cover, I still had my heart's loyalty to the Glee person who sang it. It's hard to even think that he and I were born in the same city, attended rival high schools...and yet I still haven't met him.

Damn, if only...

“Ahem.”

I blinked, shaking myself out my daze. "What?"

"Well you see...you just happened to sit on my invisible friend Darrel here. I would have told you sooner but it looked like you were having a good time in your thoughts."

Oh sweet Jesus. My heart stopped and I quickly flamed, recognizing that voice. My stunned eyes landed on an amused Darren Criss who was sitting on the couch with his equally amused friends. I must have sat next to him with probably a stupid looking expression on my face.

“Oh shit. I’m sorry!" I covered my mouth, instantly scooting off the couch. "I just get that way ya know, I get spaced out and I start doing things that’s not normal at all and I’m super sorry-Oh my gosh you’re Darren Criss-“

“Whoa, calm down little lady." He laughed, raising his hands. "You’re talking at like super speed. Even I can’t understand you...and I’m fluent.”

I bit my tongue so I wouldn’t say anything stupid and just nodded slightly. Jesus what am I doing here? My voice felt stuck right at the top of my throat.

“Ooh man Darren you got another admirer! She’s so cute too.” Someone said from next to me.

My eyes fluttered to the left instantly seeing Brian Holden. Oh sweet Jesus, I'm going to have a heart attack. My hand flung over my chest, an attempt to help hide how hard my heart was beating. I bet they could hear it too, it was so damn loud that it pounded right into my head. “I uh I think I should get going, sorry to bother ya’ll...” I stuttered.
