Epilogue

Sun put down his pen for the last time, sealed the letter addressed to his beloved Moon, and stared at it. The time had come for two things to happen. The first thing was his death. He knew by now that it was inevitable and he could feel the Grim Reaper standing right beside him, waiting for him to accept his fate.

Sun had lived a long life, with a lot of obstacles, and even though he never really got over Moon's death and truly moved on, he thought that he had lived his life to the fullest. During his lifetime, Sun explored every little corner of Asia, until he got bored of the continent and moved to South America, where he stayed for 10 years. He climbed the mountains that separated Chile from the rest of South America. He saw the great jungles and met mysterious creatures. Sun also made a lot of friends, both male and female, who were all fascinated by his life story. When the 10 years passed by, he was already in his forties and felt too old to continuing exploring the world.

So, as he promised Moon a long time ago, he packed his things, and travelled back to his hometown where this story started.

As Sun reminisced over his life, he suddenly remember one extremely important thing to do. He called over a nurse and told her to bury his last letter with him, to which she agreed, even though it was an odd thing for a patient to ask. Sun then handed over his letter to this nurse and thanked her for her services. The nurse looked down at the letter and her curiosity was instantly peaked. On the letter, Sun had written:

A letter, for when the time is right.

When the nurse finally left Sun's room, there was only one more thing to do.

He grabbed a piece of paper and the pen he held just moments ago, and scribbled something on it. When he was done, he carefully folded the little piece of paper and held it in his hand. Now, the two things that were supposed to happen was ready for their time.

He slowly closed his eyes, and waited for the Grim Reaper to take his soul.

Seconds later, Sun's heart line went flat and the alarm went. A couple of nurses rushed inside and desperately tried to give him CPR but to avail. Sun had already left this world. Seconds later, the doctor rushed inside, took one look at him and declared him dead.

No one, except for the hospital staff, was there when he died. Sun disappeared from this world just as he had appeared, completely alone.

When they wheeled him out of his room, the little piece of paper he held in his hands, fell to the ground. The little sound it made when it hit the floor was silent enough so that no one would notice. Except for one nurse, who stopped and slowly picked up the little crumbled up note. How odd for a patient to hold a piece of paper in his hands, she thought. At this point, the nurse could choose to throw away the little piece of paper, but something inside of her, whether it was instinct or fate, told her that this particular piece of paper would reveal something big. Something that would solve a mystery that happened 25 years ago. So the nurse opened the note, and when she read what was written inside, a gasp of horror left her lips, dragging everyone's attention to her and the note. Because what Sun had written on the note was:

''I killed Moon, the girl who mysteriously disappeared 25 years ago.''
