Getting away from Caleb had proved to be a very difficult task. I tried to distract him the best I could so I could get away, it didn't work. I tried to run into the crowd of people dancing and grinding all over each other but his solution was to just grab my waist once he had caught up to me again and mumbling a very incoherent "Don't want to lose you now do we?" in my ear that creeped me out. I even went as far as to try to find Ty and get him to get him off my back but he was too busy making out with his girlfriend who was my only friend from when I was home schooled. Caleb kept at it and told me how sexy I looked with this new make over I had going on. He even went as far as to say it was for him. I changed my look this summer not for him but for me and how I wanted to look. I ended up running into a bathroom and locked the door. Saying how he should have picked me instead of his ex. I was just extremely happy when he left.

I looked at my phone and it was 11:05. I was about to unlock the door and leave when I started to feel strange and then the pain of all of my bones breaking made me drop to the ground. I was freaking out and I wasn't sure what was happening. Obsidian colored hair was sprouting from my body everywhere. When I glanced at the mirror hanging on the wall my eyes were glowing red and my ears were changing shape. My canines were starting to elongate and sharpen themselves. I was terrified of myself. I had to have been dreaming this would not happen in real life so I pinched myself but it didn't end and it really was happening. I started to scream even though I knew nobody would here me over the music.

I heard a knock on the door and the faintness of a smell I could never get enough of, it smelled like when its fall and its a little cold and windy and its right about to rain. I was in bliss until I remember what was happening and I screamed from pain. The person on the other side of the door kept banging on it and eventually broke it open and the smell got stronger and stronger until it was at its strongest. All I remember is seeing the loner kid Derek rush in with eyes glowing. Then through clenched teeth whispered "mine" and the next thing I know all I see is black.
