Patrick left and Derek calmed me down. We would end up going over the plan later that night when everything was calmed and at a kind of peace because it would never be completely peaceful when the Luna of a pack could be in danger. I trained enough to know that I wouldn't go down with out a fight but right now all I needed was a nap, and that's exactly what I intended to do. So I started to walk into the bedroom so that I could sleep but Derek noticed and immediately was in front of me. 

"Where are you going?" He growled out not meaning to be so harsh sounding but ended up sounding that way anyway.

"I'm exhausted Derek just let me go take a nap." I answered annoyed but you could barely detect it over how monotone my voice was.

"Okay, I'm really sorry Mel, I didn't mean to sound like tha-"

"It's okay just wake me up in two hours if I'm not awake okay?"

"Okay."

With that I walked towards the room and completely collapsed on the bed. I almost fell asleep instantly but I felt something strange underneath of me so I opened my eyes and looked down. It was an envelope and a rose, the stem was completely cut off of the rose top. I looked at the hand writing on the letter and it reminded me of another note that I once got when I was younger. I couldn't remember who had written that letter so I opened it. Inside were rose petals and a note that read, "Say goodbye to your precious mate. You'll be mine soon enough Amelia."  It was Caleb, It was his handwriting, it was his wording, it was his all. I couldn't show it to Derek, he wouldn't react well to it. I'd hide it and then burn it when i woke up. With my mind starting to ease back to the realization of exhaustion, I fell asleep first slowly but then all at once. 

I was awoken by the sound of somebody pounding the the door to the house, it was loud and I knew that I would have had to get up soon anyway so I got out of bed and answered the door. It was Patrick. 

"Luna its nice to see you. Wheres Derek?" Where was Derek? Why hadn't he been the one to answer the door.

"Patrick what time were you here last?"

"Around 2 maybe 3, why?"

"What time is it now?"

"About 8:30, Luna is there something wrong?"

"They've taken him Pat."

"What are you talking about? Taken who Amelia?"

"He took him Pat, he took Derek." I turned towards Patrick at this point and his face was horrified at this moment. He tried to say something rational, something to disprove it. I knew it was true though.

"Amelia he probably just went for a run."

"I was asleep, he wouldn't have willingly left me alone if he thought Caleb was going to take me."

"Caleb couldn't have taken down the Alpha himself. Especially with how young Derek is."

"He wouldn't of had to if I was a bargaining chip. He also could have gassed him, made him sleep."

"Amelia I doubt that he was, you would have woken up from the commotion, the noises, all the sound."

"Unless he gassed it, it would explain why I slept so long."

"How do you even know that it could have been Caleb."

"Because of the note."

"What note?"

"He told me to say goodbye to my mate, in the note. Said I would end up being his."

"Luna what are you rambling abo-"

"HIS MATE, HE SAID THAT I LOOKED LIKE HIS MATE!"

"What does that have to even-"

"Pat what happened to his mate."

"I don't see how that's relevant..."

"What happened Pat?"

"She died I think."

"Who was the girl you mentioned earlier, the one who everyone thought would be Derek's mate but your glad she wasn't?"

"Her name was Brianna."

"Was?"

"She died right after she found her mate. Horrible human being, none of us would have stayed in the pack if it had been her. She hated when people were happy with a passion. Except when Derek was happy, they were friends for a while, then they turned into more. Once she turned 16 and Derek turned out not to be her mate nobody listened to her anymore. He ended up dumping her soon after.  Her real mate went after her like any guy would but she wouldn't have it. She wouldn't have anyone unless it was Derek, she was completely obsessed with him. She rejected her mate and a few weeks later she was in a car accident and ended up dead. She looked kinda like you but different body type."

"She was Caleb's mate, he described her kinda like that but a lot more vulgar terms towards me."

"He'll be locked up soon Luna."

I Didn't know what to say, I barely was listening after that point to be completely honest. I was thinking of a way to save him and get him out of wherever Caleb was keeping him, my mate. Caleb had pissed me off, and nothings worse than a pissed off Luna, not even a pissed off Alpha because at leave they're mates calm them down. If a Luna gets pissed the best an Alpha can do is just keep them from killing everyone. 

"Pat, I've got some orders."

"Yes Luna?"

"I want you and two other pack members to find where Caleb is keeping Derek. Don't get caught, if you do he'll run. Then we'll wait two days as much as it will kill me to know where he is we need to plan and make sure that Caleb doesn't know we found him. Lastly we're going to get him, and even if I have to kill Caleb to do it, I'm getting my mate back no matter what."

"Yes Luna."

"Lets go get our Alpha back."

It was my birthday today and it was a pretty good one actually. I turned 16 and had a wonderful time with my family and some of my friends.
