The Secret They Kept

I woke up in Derek's bed with his arm around me and his scent was covering me. This would have been great if I hadn't had remembered falling asleep on the couch. I was stubborn and we had ended up arguing and I fell asleep on the couch because he had given up because he was so tired.

This was the point I realized that I had to pee, badly. Derek's bed was pressed up against the wall and something was at the end blocking the only other exit that I could take that wasn't blocked by him. So I tried very carefully crawling over him but I'm very clumsy and not graceful in the slightest, plus I was still half asleep. I fell on top of him and I was straddling his waist and as I was trying to get off him, he grabbed my legs and pulled me back down. I squeaked out of surprise as I was falling.

"Good morning" Derek says with a very sleepy smirk on his face that seemed to make my legs jello.

"Good morning" I responded.

He kept a hold on me and didn't say anything he just kept staring so I did instead I said something. "Can you let me go now, please?"

"Now why would I do that?"

"Because I have to use the bathroom? "

"Will you come back afterwards? "

"Where else would I go?"

"One thing first."

"What?"

Without answering he grabbed my neck and pulled my face down to his. His lips were less than a centimeter away from mine. He whispered "This." Then he completely closed the distance and he kissed me. I forgot about the world in that short time. Then I pulled away without saying a thing and quickly hopped off of him and went into the bathroom.

When I finished I went back into the room and he wasn't in bed anymore. He wasn't even in the room at all actually. In that moment I decided I needed a new shirt so I went into his closet and took one of his. It was long on me and it was rather baggy as well. Either way it smelled like him and it made me feel happy.

I walked out to find him just getting off the phone. He turned to me and looked at me while I was walking towards him. "Is that my shirt?"

"I needed one"

"And you couldn't have asked? "

"Nope."

"Just be glad you're cute."

"What would you do if I wasn't?"

I got my hands grabbed and my body was slammed up against the wall arms over my head. "Intresting." Was all I could say, because that's what it was. Interesting.
