The morning had come and unlike lately, Wes was long awake, getting ready both physically and mentally for his duel, not knowing what his opponent will be capable of. The cuts on his arm from smashing the glass seemed to be completely healed as if it had never happened. As the time for the duel was closing in wes changed into his combat uniform, leaving the goggles. He grabbed his staff and waited in the middle of the town for his opponent to show up.

Roughly two hours had passed and rain had started falling. Wes stood in the rain for a few minutes before deciding to find shelter, as he turned to leave a hand wrapped around his face, and someone had kicked his legs tripping Wes onto his back. Before Wes could get back up someone planted their knee on his chest and held a dagger to his throat.

"So? You're the person I'm supposed to fight? You can call me rashale (raw-shay-eel) I was watching you for about an hour, you should have checked the area rather than staying in the same place. What's your name?"

Wes coughs a little, "you can go ahead and call me wes, and you shouldn't let your guard down." From his trapped position wes grabs at his staff, and swings it at rashale. Noticing this rashale grabs the staff with his other hand to stop it, once this happens wes smacks rashale's dagger hand away with his free hand and grabs the staff and with both hands throws rashale off of him. By the time wes stands up his opponent has already hidden himself again.

This time aware that his opponent is here wes starts to look around the area, looking for any sort of hiding place rashale could be. Looking behind houses, in bushes wes can't find him, on his way to check a different house rashale runs at wes from behind and slams the hilt of the dagger into wes' back, as wes falls to the ground rashale kicks his staff away and stands in front of wes holding the dagger to his head.
"Come on now, just say that I've won. This duel can only be ended when one person either gives up, or is incapacitated. And the only sort of incapacitating I can do with this is kill you, I don't feel like ending a life today, now give up."
Wes clenches his teeth, not wanting to give up, but unsure of what to do against this enemy.
